It was another day of the same old stuff. (Y/n) had been flirting relentlessly with almost every person around her, of course. She was considered attractive by a lot of people she attended school with and she used that to her advantage though she only liked one person: Bae Joohyun. (Y/n) never intended on liking Irene, but her best friend, Joy had showed the basketball player her Instagram on accident one day and (Y/n) immediately wanted to know more about the woman.

"(Y/n), can I come watch you practice tonight?" Wendy walked over, her finger twirling a single curl around it. "I don't think my coach will like if I brought any guests, but maybe you can watch me this up and coming game on Saturday," The latter suggested with a cheesy smile. That smile was well known to be a flirtatious quirk of hers.

Joy walked over and hooked her arm with (Y/n)'s, dragging her off to make it look like they were chatting. Joohyun walked over to her locker and grabbed what she needed. "Hey Hyun, you're looking great today," (Y/n) complimented the woman known for her cold looks. Joohyun rolled her eyes before looking over at the flirt, "Thank you, (Y/n). If you don't mind, I'm going to head to class without being pestered."

"Whatever you'd like," (Y/n) smiled at Joohyun before dragging Joy off. Joy scoffed and patted (Y/n)'s shoulder. "She seems to really like you," Joy pointed out sarcastically. "I'm aware, but I don't know what I did for her to act like that towards me," (Y/n) huffed, her posture hunching to show her disappointment. "What if I confess to her how I feel?" She stood straight up with a large smile, the idea seemingly genius to the flirt. "You should give her something to show you're serious," Joy suggested. "That's a great idea, thank you, Joy," (Y/n) bowed to show her friend how much she respects her and prances off to class happily.

After (Y/n) left class, she left the school building and headed immediately towards her car. She got in and revved the engine, starting the car. A smile rested on her face as she backed out of the parking lot and headed towards the mall.

When (Y/n) parked, she sped her way into the mall excitedly with only one gift in mind. She walked into the nearest jewelers shop and began to browse. "Do you need help finding something?" The clerk asked with a gentle smile. "Yes, do you have anything that is minimalistic and simple?" (Y/n)'s eyes widened with excitement as the clerk nodded.

The clerk gestured the younger woman to follow him as they walked to a specific area in the store. (Y/n) scanned through the items that sat in front of her. "This one," She pointed to a small, silver-chained necklace that had a small gem that hung from it. The clerk pulled it out from behind the counter and held it up in front of the woman. "I'll get this one," (Y/n) grinned as she walked over with the clerk to pay.

After paying, (Y/n) headed straight back to her dorm to prepare for practice. She had thirty minutes to get ready and head back towards the school on foot. She quickly pulled her hair into a ponytail, and put on some basketball shorts and her practice jersey. (Y/n) slid on some sweatpants over her shorts and put on her tennis shoes. As she walked out of the door, she grabbed her basketball shoes and headed towards the gym.

Morning came and the blissful sound of (Y/n)'s phone awoke the woman. She was nervous for the day ahead of her, she was going to confess how she felt to Joohyun. She quickly got ready and grabbed her backpack, making her way towards the campus.

(Y/n) met up with Joy with a large smile across her face. "What's got you so happy?" The basketball player holds up a small bag that contains Joohyun's gift. "Oh, you're doing it today?" Joy questioned. "Yeah, I have a game tomorrow so it'll be easier if I do it sometime today," (Y/n) looked over at the bag and back towards Joy. "Hope everything goes well," Joy smiled at (Y/n) as they parted for class.
