help out with the encanto

i walked out with camilo
"mami i'm gonna show y/n around!"
"okay stay safe mijo"
we both stepped out of the door, everyone staring at us skeptically which i didnt quite get until camilo explained to me.
"why are they staring at us so weirdly" i asked camilo quietly
"think about it y/n, two teens going out late at night, that just spells trouble"
"oh" i realised
"you really are oblivious, arent you y/n" he chuckled
"hey what do you mean by that!"
"nothing nothing, look here's the spot!" he said enthusiastically, avoiding my question.
i look around, it really was beautiful, it had flowers all around, there was a small pond filled with little fish. i smiled gently and saw camilo, looking down i to the pond. i havent seen this side if camilo yet, he was usually enthusiastic, hyper and flirty, but now he looked calm and relaxed. i sat next to him looking at the pond.
"its a nice spot isnt it" he said kind if proudly, also staring at me.
"it is" i smiled just noticing he was zoning out looking at me
i stared at him blankly and snapped him out of it by saying
"take a picture it will last longer" with a smirk
"ah! sorry hermosa, didnt mean to stare!" he said with a slight blush on his face.
"its okay" i smiled "we should really go home now though"
"you're right, lets go"
the walk was silent, but it was a comfortable silence. my first impressions of this place has been pretty good so far and i even met people my age already, i feel like it wont be that bad being here. we get back to la casita and see that my parents were just about to leave so we got here at the right time
"oh y/n just on time cariña we were just about to leave!" my mom exclaimed
we thanked the madrigal family for having us for dinner and camilo had to be a flirt and wink goodbye to me, i just winked back then we walked home.
"so y/n, i see you're starting to get close with that camilo boy" ma winked at me.
"ma, he's just a friend, we just have a lot in common" i sighed
"thats fine y/n as long as there's no funny business" my dad smirked
"there wont be any funny business!" i protested,
everybody just laughed. at least we all went home in a good mood and i could sleep well.
when we got home, i got into my pyjamas and went to my bed until my mom called me.
"y/n cariña we have to talk about something" she said, a little nervous.
"uh oh am i in trouble" i said
"no we just have to talk about you helping out with the encanto" my dad butted in
"oh" i replied
"so basically you'll have to be out between 10 am to 2pm to help out around town, most of the townspeople already know wbout your powers, and will ask for help if needed"
"okay ma, i'll do my best to help"
"thank you sweetie!" my mom said proudly and my dad just looked at me a little concerned
"if you get exhausted, please let us know y/n" my dad said
"okay! im gonna go to sleep now, goodnight!"
"goodnight!" my parents said in unison
great now i cant sleep in i guess.

"Y/N WAKE UP YOU HAVE TO GET GOING IN 29 MINUTES"
"OKAY COMING"
i roll out of bed, wash my face and put some plain makeup on. i put on a mint green dress that went to about my knees and age some breakfast
"okay ma i'm gonna go now"
"bye y/n, i'm proud of you mija!"
oh how this is going to be fun.
i walk out about 10 metres from my house, and get called by this man
"hey y/n can i get some help putting this onto the roof?"
i smile and nod as i used my telekinesis to lift up the item he wanted on his roof. it appeared to be a satellite, probably for a tv. he thanked me and i headed off.
at about 1:30 i ran into camilo
"hey hermosa!"
"oh hi camilo! whats up"
"nothing, just doing my chores, why are you out here"
"your abuela got me to do some chores" i looked at him blankly
"oh thats unfortunate, anyways" he said changing the subject "antonio's gift ceremony is today!"
"OH SHIT" i said "I FOrGOT TO GET A GIFT"
"chill bonita, just get one after you finish your chores"
"oh you're right"
i was making some small talk to camilo, about antonios ceremony until i was interrupted bet dolores,
"EY CAMILO, DO YOUR CHORES NOT Y/N!! SHE ISNT A CHORE"
"HEY I'M NOT DOING Y-" he stopped himself
"nevermind, BYE!" he shoutes as dolores pulled him away. i just chuckled and went on to finish my last chore. after that, i went to get antonio a gift, i knew he liked animals, so i got him a little stuffed girrafe and elephant, they were so cute. i buy them then go home to show ma.
"hey y/n i made some lunch for you, what took you so long?"
"i got a present for antonio!" i said, showing the presents, i was proud of my choice im not gonna lie.
"ah so cute mija! here come eat"
