BTS already expected that the rumors about their maknae would spread like a wildfire the moment they announce the end of their break. Both their fans and their antis are waiting for them to comeback, the other is to hype them and the other is to destroy them.
Their company just announced that their hiatus is over and with that announcement, HYBE also released the first trailer of the new season of BON VOYAGE. Armys are so excited to know that the boys will go somewhere they always want to go so it is already expected that there will be fans in the airport on the day of their departure.
"Jungkook, will you be okay to go with Taehyung or---"
"No hyung. I mean, I saw the rumors and articles just this morning and they're pretty bad. I don't want Taehyung to get hurt once there will be crazy stalkers out there. Please, let Seokjin hyung stay with Tae." Jungkook immediately disagreed to their manager's plan to let him be with Taehyung later at the airport.
Ryan looks at the youngest member of BTS and can't help but admire him even more. Jungkook is not only talented and handsome but he has a heart made of gold. The manager might be jealous at Taehyung but he really loves how Jungkook always put the other idol's well being over everything even above himself and that's why even when he always gets annoy with Taehyung, he just have to remind himself that he's being patient for Jungkook.
***INCHEON INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
HYBE didn't announce the departure of the boys to New Zealand because of two reasons, first is because fans shouldn't know the boys will film the BON VOYAGE's new season in New Zealand and second is because the golden maknae of Bangtan is currently boiling in a hot soup. The company wants to protect their artist as much as possible especially now that the antis are still out there pouring gasoline to the fire that is burning Jungkook's name.
Unfortunately, BTS are immediately swarmed by their fans and media upon arrival at the airport. Taehyung is still pouting because he was reprimanded not to step near Jungkook for safety purposes so he just attached himself to Seokjin who promised Jungkook that he'll keep the younger Kim safe beside him.
Jimin on the other hand took the chance to latch himself beside Jungkook when he noticed that the press starts to take photos of them. Yoongi and Hoseok repositioned themselves and made sure that they're covering their youngest while Namjoon took the lead while they're walking towards the departure area.
Jungkook tried his best to cover himself but the ink on his knuckles garnered more attention that he expected.
"Jungkook-ah is it true that the tattoo artist who did your tattoos is your girlfriend?"
"Are you going public soon?"
"Jungkook-ah, is it true that the man you bumped into actually died and your company is just covering you for it?"
"Jungkook-ah... Jungkook... JK!"
The media keeps yelling and almost harrassing the youngest member of BTS so Taehyung who's in front of the line can't help but turn around to check on his boyfriend already. Jungkook is quick to throw a reassuring smile that he's fine but Taehyung just couldn't hold back anymore when he's sure that Jungkook is probably blaming himself already.
"Taehyungie, don't. Just, hold back for now." Seokjin reminds the younger vocalist as he holds his arm too just to make sure Taehyung won't do anything crazy that will turn the world of the press upside down.
"Hyung, do you really think I would let them---"
"Yes Taehyung. In fact, you should go ahead at the immigration first before you do something that will only worsen the situation. Besides, Jiminie already got Guk's back. Now go. Don't look back!" Namjoon whispered to Taehyung who still looks so worried.
Taehyung hates times like this, where he couldn't do anything for Jungkook even if he wants to. But since he trusts Namjoon's decision when it comes to crowd control, he just obeys him. Without looking back, he enters the immigration booth to get his papers validated.
On the other hand, Jungkook can't stop worrying about their whole group. With the questions thrown unto him, he already knows that the damage he brought to BTS is no joke. He almost teared up when he felt a small hand squeezing his arm.
"Chin up Guk! Come on, don't let them get you." Jimin whispered to his fellow idol who came from Busan. He knows exactly how it feels to be the center of attention in a bad way and he doesn't want their youngest to feel that so he's trying his best to help him cheer up.
"I'm sorry hyung, geez this is embarrassing!" Jungkook replied before he starts biting his lower lip again, a habit he does whenever he's anxious.
"Stop that. Just chin up and keep focusing on our fans. I heard some fans talking about how cool your tattoos are. Come on, few more meters and we're out of here." Jimin said before holding Jungkook's hand and drags him towards the immigration booth too where the other members are already waiting.
