"Hey! Rayla!" Callum whisper-shouted at the sleeping elf infront of him "Wake up!" That one did the trick because within minutes Rayla had shot right up a little to quickly and bumped heads with Callum "Ooww." He groaned "Sorry, Callum!" Rayla apologised quickly.

"No, no, it's fine. I shouldn't have startled you like that." "Oh well thanks. Anyway what's up?" She asked "Oh um well, don't panic but I think the dark mages know we're here." Callum winced "What?!" "But don't worry. These guys aren't the strong or bright type and are taking a long time moving those heavy rocks." He said.

"They're not that heavy." Rayla said "How could you say that?!" "Whatever. Anyway, why are we still here? C'mon let's get outta here." Rayla said as she leapt up and ran over to the hidden exit. The elf hastily pulled the lever and the secret door opened. They all fled into it (Y'know this is the part where I could say eerily "Never to be seen again." But I won't for now) and disappeared into the darkness of the rocky tunnel.

After a while of running they decided to stop for a bit to catch their breath especially Runaan who was carrying extra. They set off again at a slower pace so he could keep up with them. (Time skip because the rest of the journey was super boring and safe) Eventually after a day of walking they reached the end of the tunnel.

By the time they were out it was already dark out so they decided to make camp in the end of the tunnel for shelter. "I'll take first watch." Said Rayla determinedly "No way. You took first watch last night. My turn tonight." Callum said sternly "Callum it's fine. I'm not tired." She said barely holding in a yawn "Yes, you are. Go to sleep. I'll go out on patrol." He said still not budging.

The assassin looked like she was about to protest before giving in "I-Fine." She agreed "Good. I'll see you later." The Prince said before heading out to do a perimeter check. Rayla headed back over to Ethari and the now sleeping Runaan. She yawned as she lowered herself down to her sleeping bag. "Where's Callum?" Ethari asked "Taking first watch." Rayla deadpanned "Oh. OK."

"How's Runaan doing?" She asked concerned "I think he's alright." He replied glancing over to his husband. The elf snuggled up closer and soon fell asleep. Leaving Rayla alone without Callum and reassurance that he was alright. Finally the assassin managed to drift off. Rayla woke up to snoring next to her. As soon as she sat up she could tell that it was still early.

Glancing over at Ethari and Runaan, the assassin could tell they were asleep but weren't making any noises. So where was all the snoring coming from? She turned over on to her side and immediately knew what the source of the snoring was. Beside her Callum lay in a deep sleep snoring like mad. Rayla sighed at her fiances antics before silently getting up and slipping out of the clearing.

After a while she stumbled upon a cliff overlooking a beautiful lake. She sat down, dangling her legs over the edge. Suddenly a bright light came from behind the hill infront of her. It started rising and rising until the sun was high in the sky, shining down the clear blue water. Rayla sat there mesmerised by the beauty before her.

Suddenly someone shook her shoulder and snapped her out of it and back to reality. "Rayla? What are you doing out here?" They asked. She started turning around "I could ask you the exact same thing-Runaan?! What are you doing here?!" The moonshadow elf shouted "I woke up and saw you weren't in the clearing so I came looking for you." He shrugged.

"I just went for a walk." Runaan raised an eyebrow of disbelief.

"What?" The assassin questioned.

"Are you alright?" Runaan asked in a softer tone.

"Of course I'm alright. Why wouldn't I be?"

Runaan frowned. "OK. Then let's go back to the camp."

"Good." She said.
