Chapter 6: Back To AVA

(Three months after)

It has been three month since I got arrested by the cops for attempted murder(which I never committed).
I was placed in the junevile center because I was still young to go to prison.
According to them, I will remain in the junevile center until I turn eighteen years of age , I was still seventeen at that time.

(In detention)

All I could think of all day was the bracelet and my family, I hoped for them to remain alive. I also blamed myself for being careless with such item. I couldn't still believe mom will let them get me arrested. I was innocent, I could never hurt my little sister after all I once said she is my second life and I can't lose it.

(Back Home)
(Flashback -Remembered I dropped my bracelet and Sophie couldn't remember anything that happened )

Sophie saw the bracelet and took it but this time She didn't put it on. She hid it from Mom and Dad and left it in her bag pack.

(The next at school)

Sophie attends 'Prissy Middle School' She is in the 6th grade. She is pretty smart for her age and is loved my most of her teachers. Her bestfriend 'Ava' is pretty smart too.
Sophie and Ava do everything together. They have the same bag pack, lunch pack and stationeries. Mom always call them 'Sova'. They act like twins and often vist each other homes. They are so fond of each other.

Ava is describe as an African American girl, she is beautiful and her brown skin were just like pearls. She is a little bit taller than Sophie but still the same age rank with her. She is a smart student in middle school and helped Sophie with the difficulties she had at school.

Ava has beautiful curly hair which we refer to as 'Afro'. She is indeed magnificent, Mom often told her"Ava you will grow up to be a very beautiful woman " and she had replied saying" Thank you so much mom" that is how she calls mom since Sophie and Ava see themselves as sisters.

I was happy for their relationship but it hurts me that my little sister will end up loving her best friend more than me because I couldn't even stay with her let alone kept her safe.

Ava is in the 6th grade with Sophie. Her full name is Ava Williams. Sophie often refer to her as 'Av' and She also refer to Sophie as 'Soph'. That was the nick name they had for each other.

(At Home)
One day Ava visited Sophie,It was on a Saturday morning. Mom woke Sophie who slowly left her bed after attempting to go back to sleep. Sophie had her bath and was lying down on her bed while reading a book titled "Silva and the Gold Fish" She was enjoying every bit of it when mom called her that her bestfriend Ava just arrived. She ran downstairs and gave her a big hug.

(The two ran upstairs)
Mrs Willow Williams Ava's mom had a little conversation with mom. They laughed and talked.

(Upstairs)
Ava was seen with Sophie, they were so happy to see other. They were still playing and having their tiny conversation when Ava suggested that they should hold a drawing competition. She told Sophie that the loser gets to carry each other's bag pack at school the whole day and they both agreed.

While they were both drawing, Ava asked Sophie for her crayons and Sophie told her to check her bag pack. (Forgetting that the bracelet was still inside).

Ava went ahead and took Sophie's bag and opened it. Immediately..... 😳
