Qingheng-jun glanced at Lan qiren who's at his side "So... The wen's burn cloud recesses" Lan Qiren replied with a furrow on his brow "it can't be possible since we have barriers that only you and Wen ruohan could break , So how could they attack when the barrier is strong , they would've been thrown away if they aren't careful?" 

Qingheng-jun noticed that too "Maybe it was weakened" he said  , Lan qiren replied "it cannot be weakened outside , Only inside " but everything clicked in

"Unless there was a wen inside cloud recesses" qingheng-jun said , Lan qiren replied "You can't go inside the barrier without a token unless..there is a wen spy that has been included the clan since before" 

But then they heard a Boom , Jiang fengmian stood up "there's an explosion" he said . Yu ziyuan shouted "Don't go near it" While using only her hearing senses , She heard faint foot steps coming to her way , "There's some footsteps coming on our way" She said , Everyone was eventually on guard and their guards were raised up

"Lan-Gongzi!,Lan Er-gongzi!" "Nie-Gonngzi" "Jiang-gongzi!" and more titles and names were heard but then they came into light once they were in the middle 

Lan xichen said "Lan li?" He said while looking at his cousin who was clearly worried , Lan li gasped and said "Tang-ge! Where have you been? You've been gone for about a day even the leaders are all gone! Where's Wangji?" she said while looking at her surrounding and gasped when she saw the other leaders , She bowed at all of them including all the disciples there.

then the room suddenly largened and until everyone fitted well in the room and chairs were shown on the grounds 

"Please sit down , To let the show continue." Showed in the screen 

"Every leader sat down on their chairs including the mistress and misters inside , the disciples were on guard and confused but followed and sat down on the chairs . Yu ziyuan felt a buzz on her hand and felt her spiritual energy come back , Their spiritual energy was locked anyway and everyone felt their spiritual energy come back.

Lan wangji was shown attacking the wen disciples who were going to their way , Some disciples were injured while fighting but was helped by their peers . 

qingheng-jun said "so this is the burning of cloud recesses" , the disciples that newly arrived got confused on what he was talking about

Lan qiren fought too with lan xichen 

Wei wuxian joked lightly "So old man qiren still knows how to fight--" But was stopped by lan qiren who's beard was quivering

 "Xichen! Get the scrolls" He said and Lan xichen looked at his uncle in shock "But uncle-" he said "Xichen!" He reprimanded and Lan xichen ran and broke the rules but rules were excused since it was not a peaceful time anymore to follow the rules.

Su she Smirked secretly , Not knowing some people saw him

The barrier was already destroyed by the wen disciples who surrounded the barrier and attacked it , The buildings and houses were on fire because of the fire arrows shooting towards them.

"Isn't that the cloud recesses?"

"what is this sorcery"

"Is that only a fake screen"

"what is that"

"what happened"

some people got angry seeing the cloud recesses being burnt

Lan xichen went inside the library and gathered all the important secret scrolls that are too dangerous to exist and ran back to his uncle 

Lan qiren shouted "xichen! what are u doing here?! Run!" while cutting one of wens arm , "Shufu-" "GO!" And lan xichen closed his mouth and ran holding the pouch that has the secret scrolls .

"It's better if you went a-chen , Atleast there will be a last bloodline of lan if everyone was dead." Qingheng-jun said

lan xichen stayed quiet but clearly disagreed what his father said.

Lan xichen was not the person to show his emotions too , He's mostly a gentle person and a happy go one but This is the first time everyone saw him cry for the first time

"so the said first jade does cry" Jin zixun said , The people gasped at the sheer disrespect that jin zixun showed . Jin zixuan slapped his cousin's back wiith suihua " shut up Jin zixun haven't you shamed us enough?!" He said .

Jin zixun sneered but kept quiet

Lan wangji saw a group of disciples that were out numbered and Jumped and summoned wangji then strung it and every wen was blown way from the strong impact of the guqin , They all groaned in pain 

Wei wuxian cheered "Go a-zhan!" , Wen ning and nie huaisang cheered too . 

Lan wangji kept attacking the wens that were coming their way but he couldn't last long and fell on the ground and a wen disciple ran to him way raising his sword and lan wangji closed his eyes and finally accepted to die until a higher pitch sound was heard and the wen disciple was flown away and his back was banged on the wall and he spitted blood 

Su she whispered "He deserves it" , But Nie huaisang was smiling at him while looking at him . Su she looked at nie huaisang with a confused face

Lan wangji looked up to see a person , A unfamiliar person but the golden eyes , He could never mistake the golden eyes of his father . Qingheng-jun gazed at his son and looked back at the fight .

Lan qiren "at least give your sons attention" He said and qingheng-jun sighed

QIngheng-jun's strength was on par with wen ruohan but ever since the seclusion he has been drained of life and stopped cultivating as much as before , He attack every person who came and tried to attack the disciples.
