Hello fanbase (aka @lilmisfortunate & @Azf0023 ), welcome to my tea party. In this chapter, I beg of thee to please spam the shit out of me with comments (or actually to just answer the following question because I'm curious as fuck)

How did you guys join the Creepypasta fandom?

I'll go first because I love talking about myself.

Okay, so, I was already aware of Creepypasta since I was about 9 because I was obsessed with gothic horror then, but I never really dove into internet horror for two reasons. Firstly, I was Dutch and my English was still rather poor (I was trying, but neither school nor google translate were helpful), and secondly, internet horror contains much more outright gore and jumpscares than gothic horror. So while I was fine reading about fallen angels sucking the souls out of people's bodies and torturing them, I still feared that I would get nightmares if I were to look at the Rake. (Secret third reason: I had no idea where to do my research on them. I was convinced that clicking on unfamiliar sites would cause my laptop to be infected with tons of different viruses, so to simply google it when I was quite content with just researching historical vampires a lot wasn't really a priority.)

But that all changed when I was about fourteen or fifteen years old (I know I was late, shut up) and found that one YouTube video of "September: Jeff the Killer". You know, that song that's actually a Brony song but because it sounds morbid it got tied to Creepypasta? Yeah. Wait, I'll link it here.

Anyway, since that video/song included amnesia about a murder that you caused yourself, I was hooked. I was like, "Oh, so it's like mystery stories?"

I spent maybe six months trying to use just that video to create an original story and then gave up because it was becoming glaringly obvious that the majority of the popular stories and fanfictions and headcanons were terrible. So, I dove in more fervently, but this time pretty much completely ironically. And then I got genuinely fixated and now I'm trapped here.

Anyway, that was longer than necessary because I'm dramatic.

Your turns!
