We were on horse back back to the their old headquarters
"Does he ever shut up oh my god," I said as Oluo talked.
"Now it's a holding cell the place for are newest toy," he said as eren looked back at levi. "Do not deceived green horn," he added
"Excuse me," eren said. Then Oluo said something I couldn't hear because I was to far back. Then he bit his tongue I busted out laughing along with a few others from the team.
"You idiot," I said as we arrived. I put my horse up following Levi.
"Look at these weeds. This place has gone to hell." Eld said.
"I bet the inside is really dusty to," Gunther said.
"In which case we have a problem don't we. Best grab a broom and get to work," Levi said we all headed inside. Once inside we all started cleaning.
"This is boring," I said.
"Hey get back to work," Levi said.
"Oh shut up," I said. He left and I headed upstairs to find Eren and Petra.
"Story goes he was quite the rogue before joining the scouts. A high roller in the capitals underground black market," She said.
"Oh we talking about short stack," I said.
"Hey Ana," Petra said.
"How the hell did he I mean," Eren said.
"No clue folks talk but what know what really brought him here right. The most popular version involves Erwin they say he dragged him to the scouts kicking and screaming," Petra said I mean that's not what really happened but who cares.

"What's going on," Levi said scaring us Petra pretended to sweep.
"Sir," Eren said standing up tall.
"Hey short stack," I said he glared at me.
"Your cleaning is unexpected back upstairs now," Levi said.

"You go back to cleaning now," he said I groaned leaving.

"It's safe to assume our standing orders will stretch into next week. Word is we are gearing up for a big mission 1 month from now. One where a bunch of wet behind the ears graduates are going to be are main backup," Eld said.
"You got a problem you want to go Eld," I said putting my first up.
"Set down," Levi said.
"You don't tell me what to do right here and now," I said.
"That can't be right eld. Why do something like that. The cadets have been through enough with the last titan attack why subject them to that kind of danger again?" Gunther Askes.
"Surely this can't be the case," Petra said.
"Mission planning isn't my responsibility. But it is Erwin's and you can bet the man has obsessed over every angle," Levi said I nodded in agreement.
"That's the truth especially given how unique the situation is. Consider how many people died on the path to take back wall Maria. And hope comes in a forms no one expected one we aren't even entirely sure how to deal with," Eld said causing us all the look at Eren. "Most of us still find it hard to believe so how does it work this whole 'changing into a titan' trick really?" He asked.
"Wish I could tell you but the fact is my memory isn't clear guess it's kinda like being in a trance. I do know the trigger seems to be hurting myself in someway like biting my hand," Eren said.
"Your not going to get anything out of him apart from what the scribblers have laid out in the reports. Not that you know who have a go at it. You'll be lucky to come out of it alive if that one lays into you of course it's only a matter of-," Eren cuts levi off.
"Who are you talking about," Eren asked. Just then someone ran into the door.
"Ow," they yelled.
"Speak of the devil," I muttered sipping my tea. Petra ran over to open the door.
"I'm so sorry good evening team Levi. How is castle life treating everyone?" Hange asked
"You're to early," Levi said
"I suppose I couldn't help myself," they said.
"Hi Hange," I said.
"Ana my baby has Levi been nice," they asked hugging me.
"No he made us clean," I muttered as they walked to Eren.
"Section commander Hange," Eren said.
"Hello Eren. In the event you haven't pieced it together it's my job to spear head the scout regiments research efforts. Essentially I poke and prod at are captive titan Specimens. I'd very much like your help," Hange said.
"My help in what way? Like what would I have to do?" Eren asked.
"Join my of course on a test of scientific discovery," they said.

"Well um I'm happy to help expect I'm afraid it's not up to me I'm under close restrictions by orders of the higher ups you see," Eren said.
"Levi! What's the plan for him tomorrow," Hange asked.
"Clearing out all the weeds," Levi said.
"Excellent then it's decided. Young man tomorrow will be grand," they said taking ahold of Erens hand.
"K. But uh just so I'm clear what exactly will I be doing," Eren asked.

"Are you running experiments of something," eren asked.
"Idiot shut up," oluo said for the first time I agreed with him.
"Ah...I knew it...you possess a curious mind don't you," Hange said. Then levi stood up along with the rest of us and we left.
"Hey Levi," I said following him.
"What is it," he asked.
"I wanted to talk to you about something do you mind," I asked he nodded and I followed him. We walked into a room I'm guessing is his office.
"What is it," he asked sitting down. I also sat down in the chair across from him.
"You don't have to answer me. But the reason you like everything being so clean is because how we grew up with his dirty everything was and what we were surrounded by?" I asked.
"I guess you can say that once I got out of there I didn't want to ever live like that again," he said. I nodded. "Why" he asked.
"I was just curious cause I know how hard it is for me to see anything like how things used to be down there," I said he just nodded in agreement.
