Pacing around her room (y/n) couldn't help but heave another sigh of worry as she waited for Legolas' arrival, he had asked to meet with her after dinner, well it wasn't much of a dinner for her since she could barely eat due to worry.

After the whole ordeal Legolas had pulled her aside and hurriedly told her what had happened before she was dragged off by Laerune back to her bed chambers.

Worried for her, Laerune asked Khelvan and Saevel to stay inside with her for the time being while Aumrauth, Beldroth, and Ellisar stood guard outside.

Khelvan was the first to break the silence as usual, "Well at least we wouldn't have to worry about her poisoning you again my lady." This was soon followed by a small yelp of pain as Saevel hit him with a glare.

"Now's not the time to joke around, Ce uchand* your princess almost got stabbed you know." "Sorry, just trying to lighten up the mood, she's been pacing since after dinner, the floor is going to make a trail at this point."

This made (y/n) smile a bit as she stopped her pacing and instead made her way towards a chair near the open window, the breeze calming down her nerves. "You two never fail to make me smile. I've just had a lot to think about."

"That's alright princess! I think too!" Khelvan said proudly and Saevel looked at him before a playful grin settled on his lips, "You do? Dôl gín cofn* so I assumed you don't at all."

Khelvan rolled his eyes and shoved Saevel on the shoulder, immaturely sticking his tongue out at him before facing (y/n) with a frown, "My lady could you kick him out?" (y/n) shook her head, an amused chuckle escaping her lips.

A knock suddenly sounded surprising the three of them and stopping their banter, "It's Legolas', may I come in?"

The two looked at each other before standing up and bowing, "Don't hesitate to scream if he does anything my lady." Saevel warned before taking hold of Khelvan's wrist and dragging him out, leaving the door open for Legolas'.

"Mellon, thank you for meeting me tonight." Legolas greeted, shutting the door behind him gently, he took a nearby chair and placed it Infront of (y/n)'s, sitting down and taking a hold of her hands tenderly.

"Are you alright? She didn't hurt you did she?" He asked worriedly, she felt his eyes scan over her form and gave him a smile, "I'm alright mellon, although I am still in shock." (y/n) confessed.

Their kingdom may be small, but she'd never imagined that there was someone after her, especially since her brother's ruling brought their kingdom to greater heights.

"Do you've any clue on who might be capable enough to do this?" He asked in a low whisper, (y/n) frowned before standing up, pulling Legolas along with her, "Take me to the garden." She said hurriedly, "There is something you must know about our kingdom."

As they exited the bedchambers, a hand reached out and grabbed (y/n) by her wrist, "My lady? Where are you going with him?" Aumrauth asked, his expression one of worry as he looked between them.

"Aumrauth we'll just be at the garden talking for a bit." By her tone he had already guessed where this was going.

"No." "You can't stop me." "I know I can't. As your guard I am to follow your every word, but as your friend I worry for you."

Ellisar and Beldroth looked between the two, they were in no position to take sides, stuck between their princess and their captain.

(Y/n) pulled her arm away from Aumrauth's hold, "Greenwood may be the only kingdom strong enough to protect us-" "But you'll risk yourself, how would Laerune react if she'll find out?" "We'll be fine, please Aumrauth, estelio enni* please."

Aumrauth heaved a sigh, placing her hand on his forehead, "Estelion allen.*" He let go and (y/n) had Legolas lead them out to the garden, leaving a disheartened Aumrauth behind.

The cool night air blew between them gently, swaying the leaves of the shrubs that grew around them, flowers of different kinds creating a scene worthy of praise.

(Y/n) let go of his hand, turning to face him as he looked on in confusion and curiosity, "My kingdom, my people have been blessed by a being of great power from the very beginning."

She closed her eyes and when she opened them once more there was a faint glow, a light green mist emitting from her hands forming what looked to be a small dragon, sleeping peacefully on the holographic image.

"This, is Nylhelona. She is the only thing I can see in this world, she is a being capable of giving my people the protection that we needed, our healing, out strength all came from her."

The mist slowly turned red and Legolas watched on as a cloaked figure made its way towards the dragon before it casted a spell, a look of pain flashed through (y/n)'s face as she staggered forward, the holographic image dissipating as Legolas steadied her.

"The women of the royal family are the only ones capable of taming her, that is because of an oath deeper than blood will set. We feel her pain, her anger, her weakness." She closed her eyes as the glow surrounding her faded.

"He wanted to tame her, and when he realized he couldn't, he was driven to edge of anger, jealousy, resentment, and insanity." She bit her lip, a sour taste in her mouth for the words that would come out in the next few seconds.

"He is my uncle, Erynaur*, and I believe he is back and after my blood."
