Royal Au

Noah's pov

One more stupid ball, one more stupid night pretending to be the perfect price.

I don't know for how much more time I can take this, princesses asking me to dance and I being obligated accept to be "polite", people asking about my life and invading my personal space, I hate this I hate all of it

Now I was at one the Andersons's party, they were a royal family like mine, they had only one son, Cody, that was my age. Our families have know each other for some time, he was actually really pretty and respectful, probably one of the only people that treated me how I liked to be treated, I didn't mind spending my time with him.

But at that point I was tired of the people, music, lights, food, I was tired of it all so I decided to go the castle's garden, it was beautiful with different types of flower and a rock path that lead to a big and enchanting fountain surrounded with benches and even more flowers

I slowly admired the view walking on the rock path going near the fountain and sitting on one of the benches closing my eyes and felling the wind on my hair 

Cody's pov 

My family was having a ball today and I was kinda anxious since I was quite a introverted but at least I knew I could go to the garden if things start going wrong or too overwhelming.

Since I was little I loved flowers and plants so my mom made a special garden just for me, when I enter the garden it's as if I was in another dimension, I fell safe and happy there. When I was little my mom was the one who took care of the garden but now that I'm older I'm the one who takes care and I love it.

I was eating at the ball when I saw someone going to the garden, it looked like prince Sterecra, I got confused he was really popular and all the girls loved him and I don't blame them, he is pretty hot, but still why would he go out like that and alone 

I left my drink on the table and went after him, I followed him to the fountain and saw him sitting on one of the benches while closing his eyes, from far I admired him while the wind made his long dark hair float, he looked tired, but beautiful

 I came near him and sat beside him trying not to make much noise, once I sat down I slowly placed one of my hands on his shoulder trying not to scare him

Cody: are you ok? you look tired

he slowly opened his dark mysterious eyes, looking deep in my eyes 

Noah's pov

I was sitting on the bench when I felt someone place their hand on my shoulder and ask if I was ok, it was a soft and calming voice but for sure wasn't a girls voice, I opened my eyes to see a small brunet boy with blue ocean eyes staring at me he had a calming but worried expression, he was really cute, it was prince Anderson 

Noah: I'm okay just a little tired, but and you what the Anderson's son doing out of his own ball?

Cody: well it isn't MY ball even because I don't like crowded places but I saw you coming here to the garden alone and I wanted to check if you were ok 

Noah: thanks, and by the way this is a really beautiful garden the gardeners really do a great job 

as I said that he started to laugh I didn't understand but his laugh was like music to my ears 

Noah: why are you laughing so much?

Cody: you see, actually I'm the one who takes care of this garden, since my mom made it for me 

Noah: wow this is amazing you're really talented

Cody: thanks I fell honored to know that the famous prince Sterecra likes my garden

Cody'pov

as I thanked him he smiled at me, it was the most beautiful smile I had seen in my life, I was so distracted by his smile that I almost didn't notice he had started to talk

Noah: don't need to be so formal call me by my first name, Noah

Cody: ok Noah and you can call me Cody 

Noah: cute name, Cody, it matches you 

after saying that Noah let out a small laugh but wait did he just call me cute!? I started to get red as a tomato so I automatically looked away, was prince Noah flirting with me or am I just delusional?

Noah's pov

Cody looked away after I told him he was cute, I wanted to see his face so I placed my hands on his chin turning his face to me, when I finally got a view of his face I notice he was super red and that we were really near each other 

I don't know why I was felling like this but I wanted to kiss that brunet boy, I slowly place my hands on his cheeks looking in his eyes,I pulled him closer and kissed him

Noah: I...

Cody: shh just follow me

he grabbed my hand and pulled me by the garden arriving in a gazebo where we could hear the music from the ball 

Noah: where are we?

Cody: this is a "secret" part from the garden 

we entered the gazebo and he came closer to me 

Cody: why did you kiss me? What if someone saw us?!

he was staring at me with his big blue eyes as if he was processing the information

Noah: I kissed you because I wanted to, and I don't care about the others I'm sick of them 

I grabbed his cheeks and pulled his face close to mine

Cody: w-what are you doing?

Noah: admiring you,but why you are so red?

I knew why he was red but I wanted to tease him 

Cody: s-stop playing dumb!

Noah: sorry I won't mock you again

I laughed still looking at him 

Noah: but honestly do you fell something for me?

Cody: honestly?

I just nodded my head

Cody: well.. I think you're hot 

we both laugh,he seemed calmer now

Noah: that really was honest 

Cody: you're the one who asked for it 

He smiled playfully

Noah: you know it has been long since someone got my attention this quick

Cody: well I am quite amazing 

 once more we were laughing 

Noah: I would be enchanted to know you better mister Cody Anderson 

Cody: I say the same mister Noah Sterecra
