Everyone was looking at Mira. They were all shocked by what Antonio had said. Were they really that busy, that bad that they failed to notice her sadness. They return their attention to the film.

*The scene cuts and goes to Abuela holding the candle*

Abuela: "Fifty years ago, in our darkest moment, this candle blessed us with a miracle. And the greatest honor of our family has been to use our blessing to serve our beloved community. Tonight, we come together once more as another steps into the light. To make us proud.

*Drums began to play and Casita's tiles switched to resemble a red carpet. The lights that were placed on the walls turned to create a spotlight for Antonio. Everyone in the crowd watched waiting for Antonio to begin his walk up towards the door.

Nothing.

Casita tried to nudge him forward to help him begin the walk. Antonio turned his head to face Mirabel and held his hand out towards her. His eyes begged her to help him. Mirabel looked at him and then to the crowd then back at him. *

Mirabel: "I can't."

Antonio: "I need you."

*Mirabel slowly walked out and stood next to Antonio talking his hand. Everyone stares at them in shock. Mira ignores everyone's stares before looking down at Antonio, smiling and squeezing his hand*

Mirabel: "Come on, let's get you to your door."

*Antonio nodded, before putting his hands on her arm closely as they begin walking*

"Ah, that explains why you came in to help" Isa said, hoping to lift everyone's spirit.

The rest of the family couldn't help but feel proud of Mirabel, and for the first time it felt like they were actually seeing things differently. Everyone never knew that Mira would break rules for someone she cared about, but now that they saw this, they smiled gently.

*Mirabel gets flashbacks of her ceremony as she walks Antonio to his door, small five-year-old Mirabel, still in the same outfit from the beginning of the movie. As she continued, she walked up to the door and placed her hand on the doorknob. Instead of the reaction that everyone hoped for, the door faded away and the candle flame flickered and dimmed for a moment.

Mirabel turned to face her Abuela confusion and fear all over her face while Abuela's eyes kept flicking from the candle to the door. Then the flashback ended as Mirabel snapped back to reality*

Mira turned her head away from the scene. It was becoming to much for her. The day she had let her family down had stung her and seeing this made things harder. Bruno glanced at his niece and saw that seeing these memories were hard for her. He slowly got up and sat down next to Mira. Mira noticed her Tío and looked at him. Bruno then reached in his hood and pulled out a non magical arepa con queso, which he snagged from the kitchen before Casita brought them all here. He put the treat in Mira hand. She smiled thankfully before eating it. Bruno then turned back in his seat and returned to the film.

*The scene then cuts to Abuela who is leaning down and holding out the candle while Antonio puts both of his hands on it.*

Abuela: "Do you promise to honor our miracle, to serve this community and strengthen our home?"

Antonio nodded as he approached his door.

*Everyone held their breath as he reached to touch his doorknob. He touches it and his door glows showing that the magic worked. A toucan landed on his arm and squawked at him. *
