This is a short update. I kind of stopped in mid-sentence so I will update again, but in part two.
I think I will have songs to start (some) chapters. The songs might be able to set the mood. Sometimes, however, the songs will go with the whole story, not just the chapter.
This song is "Raging Fire" by Philip Phillips.
"We are dead to rights born and raised
We are thick and thin 'til our last days
So hold me close and I'll surrender to your heart
You know how to give and how to take
You see every hope I locked away
So pull me close and surrender to my heart

Before the flame goes out tonight
Yeah, we'll live until we die

So come out, come out, come out
Won't you turn my soul into a raging fire?
Come out, come out, come out
'Til we lose control into a raging fire
Into a raging fire
Come out, come out, come out
Won't you turn my soul into a raging fire?

You know time will give and time will take
All the memories made will wash away
Even though we've changed, I'm still here with you
If you listen close, you'll hear the sound
Of all the ghosts that bring us down
Hold on to what makes you feel
Don't let go, it's what makes you real

If the flame goes out tonight
Yeah, we'll live until we die

So come out, come out, come out
Won't you turn my soul into a raging fire?
Come out, come out, come out
'Til we lose control into a raging fire
Into a raging fire
Come out, come out, come out
Won't you turn my soul into a raging fire?

Let the world leave us behind,
Let your heart be next to mine
Before the flame goes out tonight,
We can live until we die

Come out, come out, come out
Won't you turn my soul into a raging fire?

Come out, come out, come out
Won't you turn my soul into a raging fire?
Come out, come out, come out
'Til we lose control into a raging fire
Into a raging fire"

"I never got to ask," Sara said, "Why did you come here? Your house is like, what, a block from here?"
"I didn't feel like walking that far. It was storming."
"Sure."
"Maybe you would know if you go outside," Cat said, "When was the last time you actually went outside?"
"Yesterday!" She shouted in reply.
"No need to get angry with me," Cat said raising her hands up in surrender, "I was just kidding. Calm down." Cat got up and picked up the rest of the food and put in in her friend's fridge.
"Can I sleep here?" She asked, "It's still storming."
"Why?"
"I told you, it's still storming." As she said that, there was a flash of lighting, as if to prove her point. She immediately flinched.
"What?" Sara asked. "What's so scary about lightning. You know, aside from the possibility of death or paralysis."
"It's not just lightning," Cat said, "I also don't like what comes after it." She shuddered.
"Are you talking about thunder?" Sara asked, "It's just a bit of noise."
"But it can shake houses. At least, I'm pretty sure it can," Cat said, "That happened to me when my family lived in Seattle. There was this storm that was different than most of the other ones that I have gone through, which is saying something. There were so many flashes of lightning and it was pouring, and I mean pouring, and I woke up in the middle of the night because there was this loud noise and I heard it again not long after the first but this one was followed by a giant picture hitting me on the head."
"I just wanted a yes or no."
