The Smile of a Chameleon

Now That They Know

*~(SORRY FOR THE CLIFFHANGER LAST TIME!! BUT I HAVE RETURNED!!)~*

you watch as the door creaks open slowly as you hold the whimpering Camilo. you look to see Dolores there wide-eyed her hand still on the door handle, you look down to see Camilo was hiding his crying face in your chest not wanting to know who was at the door
"camilo... is that true... do you really think?" she seemed to still be shocked by what she had heard. she had never known that her little brother was hurting so much. Dolores slowly entered the room closing the door behind her in case anyone else would come. she walks across the floor careful of the broken glass. as she bends down towards you and camilo you gently rub Camilos back, he finally lets out a sigh and nods
"Dolores... I'm sorry, you are such a great sister and I just feel like I disappoint you-" camilo says before getting stopped his eyes wide with surprise and tears
"are you kidding me!? Camilo I love you, I should be the one apologizing!" she said going over and hugging Camilo tightly her arms wrapped gently around both of you. hearing Camilo whimper hurt you but you knew if anyone could help it would be Dolores. but what surprised you so much was the fact Dolores was raising her voice. it was clear how much she cared for her younger brother. you watch as she gently holds Camilos face making it so he was looking in her eyes.  Dolores eyes were starting to tear up as she gently wipes away Camilos tears
"you are perfect Camilo... we all struggle with our inner demons, but I want you to know that you aren't alone. you have your partner, and me... and the whole family. everyone loves you so much Camilo, and we just want you to be happy. we want to see your real smile... ok?" She said cupping her brothers cheek gently her eyes full off worry and care. 
"i-... oh jesus Dolores you are gonna make me cry... but thank you, both of you thank you so much" he sniffles holding the two of you tightly a small smile on his face as he gets up and looks at his hand which was still bleeding. you get up as well and tell him that they should go see Julieta. he nods holding your hand with his clean hand
"hey Dolores I know it's hard... but can you not tell anyone about this?" he pleaded to Dolores
"of course Camilo I wouldn't do that too you don't worry... just tell everyone when you have the chance too... alright?" she said petting his head and leading them out the door, the three of you walk out the door and down the stairs.

now with the weight off Camilos shoulder he seemed to be much happier as he slides down the stair railing chuckling his eyes were still watery though
"WOoOoo!  Tìa Julieta~ do you have any food I can eat?" he asked entering the kitchen you and Dolores following behind. you look over at Dolores and mouth 'thank you' to her. she just nods
"huh Camilo what happened? why do you look like you have been crying, is everything ok?" Julietta asks in her usual caring voice as she rushes over to Camilo and gently holds his hand
"oh dear, Camilo what happened I told you to be careful! sit down sit down all three of you I will make something for that cut of yours ok Camilo?" she said sitting Camilo down then you and Dolores she went straight to cooking something up as she continued to talk
"you three have a lot to explain, what happened? why is Camilo hurt, you guys know I always tell you to be careful" she huffed looking back at the three of you sitting awkwardly looking at each other. Dolores finally spoke up as fear started to fill into camilo thinking she was gonna expose him. you look at Dolores and see she had a small smile on her face
"well you see I was just telling Camilo about some wonderful news I had for the family" Dolores said a calm yet excited expression on her face. Camilo on the other hand had no clue what the fuck was going on. he paused and just laughed nervously
"haha yep! totally! right why don't you share your news" He said elbowing you to agree
"well alright... Julieta I would have liked to tell my mother first... but uh... mariano asked me to marry him..." she said a small giggle her eyes starting to light up. it had always been her dream
"YOU ARE WHAT! i mean... hehe ya I know that congrats!" he looked at you with bright eyes again, the same eyes you saw when you first met. full of excitment and wonder but out of everyone it seemed Julieta was most excited for it
"Dolores really?! oh sweetheart I'm so happy for you! come we must tell the rest of the Family!" Julieta said giving Dolores a hug before giving Camilo some food
"and for your hand Camilo, I don't know what you did but I hope you are ok now... alright?" she smiled kissing her nephews cheek then yours holding dolores hand
"come on you three everyone else was outside getting ready for dinner" she said rushing outside with Dolores. you look over and watch as Camilo hugged you tightly laughing you ask him what's making him so utterly excited. he replies basically bouncing in his feet
"did you hear that!? Dolores is getting married! i can be the maid of honour, or best man... whatever makes me happy on that day i guess! Haha, we get to dress up all fancy and Dolores will be so happy" he said excitedly, you smile glad Camilo was finding himself. you could careless what your boyfriend dressed up in. as long as it made him happy, he picked you up and ran outside to see if his sister had told everyone the great news yet

"so ya... we are planning the wedding to be in a month or two..." Dolores said looking at her family. the two of you rushed outside just in time as Dolores gets basically tackled by Pepa. you and Camilo look at each other and laugh rushing over to the rest of the family who was all celebrating the fact that one of their family members was gonna get married
"Oh my goodness! Dolores are you for real! i am so proud of you!" pepa said showering Dolores with kisses. Felix had run over and was starting to Congratulate her as well. as this went on for a while Isabella walked over to you and Camilo gently shoulder her cousin
"bet ya I'm gonna be flower girl" she said watching as the family celebrated
"well I'm gonna be her maid of honor! you watch me!" he said louder than he had meant to Dolores turned and giggled. it didn't matter how loud any of them spoke she could probably hear it. both Isabella and Camilo blush from embarrassment as you just laugh at them
"Awww Camilo, of course, you can be my maid of honor, i would be delighted... and Isa you can be the flower girl if you like, i think you would be perfect for it" she giggled basically being buried alive by her parent's hugs and kisses. Camilo and Isabella look at each other and nod
"Don't worry Dolores i will make sure to make the best maid of honor speech you will ever hear~ with help from my Partner in crime here of course" he said spinning you closer and kissing you. you can't help but admire how romantic the other was as you kiss him back.
"well I'm glad Camilo, and hey don't worry we will make you very very pretty... right Girls?" he giggled looking at her cousins with a cheeky smile, deep down you already know whats going on
"Oh of course i do~" Mirabel says wrapping an arm around Camilo in a teasing way
"w-wait what's going on?! why is everyone looking at me like that?!" he asked panicked, a small girly sequel could be heard from Luisa who clapped happily
"Yesss! Make Up for you Camilo!" she said picking up you and camilo so he couldn't escape
"wait- WHAT!?" Camilo yelped looking at his cousins and sisters who were dragging him back inside where he could not escape. you just smiled holding his hand with a smile. well this is gonna be fun!

Hi hope you enjoyed it! if you can't guess what's going on next chapter we are 100% gonna make Camilo all pretty :D yes I'm planning on doing the wedding eventually because i have some beautiful ideas for it! anyway, i hope you all have a wonderful time reading and waiting for the next chapter!!!
