The Smile of a Chameleon

A Wedding as Important as You

as you and Camilo un outside in your outfits you see most of your family and a few of the towns people were already there. you smile and wave at the others and jog over with Camilo
"oh hey lovebirds! you guys took a long to dress up, but wow you look spectacular" Luisa said wearing her dress smiling, the whole vibe of the wedding venue was bright and happy as everyone was waiting for the Bride and Groom to come out. you look to see Camilo looking around excitedly as he pulls you towards the from of the seats and sits down wanting a good view of the marriage. you chuckle as Camilos excitement asking him where the sudden energy came from. he turns and smiles gently brushing some hair out of your eyes
"Come on how is this not exciting?! my sister is getting married after all!" he gave you a kiss on the lips and smiled. his kiss was always so enjoyable to you and always your heart flutter no matter how many times you have kissed. it almost felt as if a kaleidoscope of colourful butterflies filled you up from the chest. the two of you smile as you intertwine your fingers together holding hands as you waited for the church bells to go off signaling the start of a wedding. after a few minutes of mingling and talking with people you hear the sounds of church bells going off in the Distance and people start to sit down and find seats the Madrigals sitting in the front other then Agustin who seemed to be getting ready to play the Piano waiting for the sign that he could start. Unlike most traditional weddings Dolores had decided that she didn't want the Groomsmen or Bridesmaids to be up on the stage with them because she didn't want many noises to distract her from her soon-to-be fiance. You watch as the priest had gone up onto the stage and Podium getting ready to unite the couple once they arrive. after a few more seconds of exciting whispering Agustin had started to play the piano a more soft and gentle song compared to what he usually played at weddings. you feel Camilos grip on your hand tighten as he watched Mariano walk up the stage with his mother before waiting near the priest waiting for when Dolores walked down the aisle. after a few seconds you see Isabella getting pulled along by a very well-dressed Antonio who was holding the rings. as Isabella walked beautiful yellow, red and orange flowers scattered the ground. once she got to the end of the aisle she sat down while Antonio gave Mariano the rings a bright smile on his face before he also sat down beside Isabella. you watch as agustin starts to play a bit softer as you and Camilo turn to watch Dolores start walking down the aisle with her father felix on her side. you and Camilo can't help but gasp as you see how gorgeous his sister looked in her fabulous white dress. you look over at Camilo for a second and see his was on the verge of tears as he looked at his sister. you chuckle quietly kissing his cheek before watching as Dolores hugged her father before stepping up onto the platform in front of her fience her smile bright although her eyes were starting to tear up from joy. you watch as Camilos lays his head on your shoulder as the priest starts to talk before asking for the vows. as you would expect Marianos was beautifully put together as if it was a poem handcrafted just for Dolores. you watch as a tear rolls down Dolores cheek and Mariano before she starts speaking to Mariano for her Vows. honestly listening to the happy couple made even your eyes start to tear up. after the vows both Dolores and Mariano say yes and the priest says
"you may now kiss the bride" and without a second of hesitation, Mariano leans in and kisses Dolores. the crowd awes and you look around to see a quite a few people were crying including Dolores parents, Luisa and... oh dear Camilo was full on crying now. you smile and hug Camilo holding him close as he cries tears of happiness. deep down you were thinking of how amazing you and Camilos wedding would be. you watch as Camilo compasses himself and takes your hand taking candles out from under your seats and brings it up to the podium laying the three candles down and giving Dolores and Mariano a match each before stepping to the side as the newly wed couple lights a candle each before lighting the middle candle to signifier their unity.

once they finish you finally let go of Camilos hand and you watch as he goes over and hugs his sister tightly as they laugh and cry happy tears of joy with the rest of the Family you stand beside Mariano congratulating him on the marriage. he thanks you before continuing the conversation
"You know, you and Camilo make a wonderful couple. makes me smile every time I see the two of you, I hope your relationship will forever be as bright as the rising sun" he smiles as he leaves you to blush about what he had just said. after a few moments of thinking you find yourself getting tackled to the floor by Camilo, you laugh as he smiles as bright as the stars in a clear night sky. he smiles and hugs you on the ground listening to Dolores and the other members of the family giggle at you and Camilo. you ask him what's up and he quickly replies
"I just can't believe that soon we may be the ones getting married!? wouldn't that be amazing? i would like to do ours later in the day maybe at sunset?" he giggles already thinking of your wedding. you hear Dolores squeak meaning she had heard what Camilo was saying and just smiled giving you a nod of approval before she left to go take photos with her husband in front of some flowers Isabella had made. you giggle telling him that the two of you weren't engaged yet nor the right age to marry yet. you both know though that your relationship would stand the test of time and no matter the season you would love each other unconditionally. 
"Oh shhhh it's fine let me dream, and I promise once I can propose to you I will! just you wait" he giggles as he sat up and helped you up. the two of you sat on the edge of the stage watching as people went and congratulated the newlywed couple. after a while of just sitting together his arm wrapped around you. you watch as Mariano called everyone over to listen to him sing. you get up and help Camilo up but once he was standing you spin him watching as the dress he was wearing twirled with him. you listen to him laugh the sound seeming to fill your heart
"Weee~ when did you get so romantic huh?" he giggles as you kiss him the feeling of your lips touching making your body fill with euphoria. he blushes and you reply with the reason you are so romantic is because of how wonderful Camilo is. his laughter made you smile brightly as he sweeps you off your feet and carries you towards where Mariano was going to perform a song for Dolores as he quickly tuned his guitar. you and Camilo slip through the crowd and sit down on the floor with Antonio watching as Mariano started to sing to Dolores. you whisper to Camilo how you found guitars and singing so romantic. he nods and whispers back to you
"don't worry mi amor, I will play the guitar for you whenever you like... and you can sing for me because I love your beautiful voice" he said gently kissing your cheek which made your cheeks turn the same pink as one of the flowers. after a minute or two of listening to Mariano sing as he plays the last cord and kisses his wife again. everyone starts to cheer quietly not wanting to be too loud for Dolores. after a long kiss from Dolores and Mariano a small voice could be heard
"Ewwww get a room!" Antonio says before getting quickly snatched up by his sister who hugged him tightly for a few seconds, everyone was laughing at Antonios comment
"alright, well someone is definitely ready for some food" Dolores says putting down the giggling Antonio. everyone nods happily and starts heading towards where lunch was gonna be.
"ready for my speech?" Camilo asks as he holds your hand and follows the crowd to where the tables were set up. you nod looking up at the bright sky, and unlike Pepas wedding there was not a single cloud in the sky for miles and miles around a perfect rainbow shining over both the village and pepa. you wonder if this day could get any better, and of course it can! this is the Encanto after all and anytime spent with your boyfriend Camilo is magical~
