Niki's POV

We all walk into the mall messing with each other. Kane fighting with Darren, Ryan, and Justin being the best friends they are, Seb and running up to the red horizontal pole thing hanging down and jumping up, Oli removing his arm from around my shoulders and jumping where Seb jumped up.

"I'm guessing this is normal?" I say turning towards Ty, who was next to me

"Yep."

"I'm going to have to get used to this real quick!" I laugh walking up to Ryan and Justin and making small talk

"Hey! That hurt!" I yell at Darren who flicked me in the head

"That's what you get for hitting me!"

"Just for that, I'm going to hit you again!" I say running after him to the entrance

"I'm done chasing you! My legs hurt!" I say sitting on the ground

"Here, I'll help you up!" He said with a smile and his hand out for me to grab

"Well thank yo-" I go to grab his hand and right when I was almost upright, he let go "Ow!" I yell "what happened to the old Darren?" I yell, pretending to be furious but actually, I was trying not to laugh

"He went to go get Boba!" He says

"Well tell him to get me some," I say flipping my hair and going over to Oli

"You look like you were having fun over there," he says placing his arm around my shoulder

"Oh, I definitely had fun," I say as sarcastic as possible making him giggle. We walk towards the door and Oli holds the door open for me and closes it in Darren's face making me laugh so hard, my knees collapse and I'm on the floor.

I look over at Oli who was smiling, but not at Darren, at me. We make eye contact, but not the type where it's awkward, no, it was like having a conversation with our eyes. God, I wish this moment lasted forever. The way he looked at me was saying so many things, he looked at me like he'd admired every aspect of me and my life, he probably did. At that moment, right there, I felt something. I'm not sure what, but it sure was something.

"Come on love birds, let's go shopping!" Ty says tapping us on the shoulder and walking in between us. Oli clears his throat and starts walking through the second doorway, we were the last two in.

"You too just connected on a whole new level there!" Kane laughs, me and Oli just look at each other smiling

"Okay, there's definitely something in between them," Ryan says

"No! There isn't! And it will never be anything between us!" I immediately disagree

"Oooh! You made Oliver sad!" Darren points out, I look over at Oli and he tries to hide the slight disappointment his face has with a smile. I walk over to Oli and just smile. I'm pretty sure this'll work

"Oooh!" Darren said louder "He has a soft spot for you!" he continues

"Bruh, shut up," Ryan says, 

"Let's go, I need more sweatshirts," I say trying to get the group moving

"Just borrow Oliver's! You're already wearing one!" Regie teases me

"What if I don't want to take his whole wardrobe." I reason

"Yo, she's got a point there!" Kane buts in
