Chapter 1

Xiao's POV (I literally have no idea how to start this)

beep
Tf was that
beEP
BEEP

I opened my eyes and tried to look for the sound. Ofc. it was my alarm.

I sighed and cut the alarm off. I really didnt wanna start school today. I like sleeping. (Me too. Me too)

One of my dads (childe) came in and just saw me half way on the floor and half way on the bed

"Xia- oh" he stopped

"What do you want" I say

"Nothing just uh- Get dressed it's time for school" he says slowly backing out of the room and closing the door

After a while I finally got up and got ready and headed out the door

"Have a good day, see you when you get home" zhongli says

The walk to the bus stop was horrible, it started raining and I forgot my umbrella

When I got there there was another person

He had black/blue braids and some kind of puffy coat on (not like a winter coat but like those ones that look like you have a jean vest over ur hoodie)

I stood there beside him in an awkward silence.

"Hey you know if you don't wanna get so wet you can share my umbrella with me if you'd like" he says

"Oh. Thanks" I say stepping underneath the umbrella

"No problem! Oh! I'm Venti by the way" he says flashing me a smile. "what's your name?"

"Xiao." I say

"Well it's nice to meet you Xiao" he says

Just then the bus arrives and we both get on

I sit down in a seat by myself and look out the window

The bus ride was full of nervous silence and to be honest, I don't blame them for being nervous. Who isn't nervous on the first day of school?

Once we got there we all were crowded in the hallway and looked at out schedules

That Venti guy found his way over to me and we ended up with almost none of the same classes, the only things we had together we're math, lunch, and gym

Venti grabbed my arm and dragged me to math class.

'Math first thing in the morning. Great.' I thought

We got there and sat down until the teacher walked in

"It is a pleasure to meet you all, Im Mr. Alberich. I will be your homeroom/math teacher this year" he says sitting down at his desk. "I don't expect any of you to want to do anything on the first day so why don't you use this as an opportunity to get to know each other?"

Everyone agreed to that idea and soon the room filled with chatter

I basically just looked off into the distance the entire time hoping no one would talk to me

Eventually someone tapped me on the shoulder and introduced themselves

"Hi. I'm Aether, what's your name" he said holding out his hand

"Xiao" I said accepting the handshake

"Oh I think it's time to go" he says "what class do you have next"

"Science" I say

"Aw man I have ELA next" he says "I'll see you later!"

"See you" I say
