Lost

Chapter 3

Ben's POV: 

"Hey Mom what's up?" 

"You're staying at Liam's tonight right?" 

"Um yeah, why?" 

"This is a secret right now ok?" 

"Yeah sure what's up?" 

"They found Olivia Finch. She needs a bed for the night until her brother can get here to help figure things out tomorrow." 

They found Olivia? 

Alive?

"Yeah sure, of course she can sleep in my bed. Can I tell Liam?" 

"No, not now. that kid is so loose lipped." 

"That's true. Ok bye Mom." 

"Ok man, roll the joint. You're way better at it than I am." I said passing the weed to Liam. 

Nick's POV: 

I took her home to my house. 

"Ok Olivia, so you can sleep in here. The door locks, and the bathroom is right across the hall. Maggie is almost finished with dinner why don't we get some food. How does that sound?" 

She nodded. 

We went downstairs and the table was being set with Mac and cheese. 

"You can sit right there if you want to." 

I served her up a big bowl of mac and cheese and then myself. 

I didn't really think, but I just started eating. 

"Do you not like mac and cheese? I can make something else." My wife asked. 

"Am I allowed to eat today?" I clenched my fists and took a deep breathe. 

"You don't need to ask anymore. Go ahead." 

She picked up her fork and took a bite, but then looked at me to make sure it was ok. 

"It's ok. You can eat as much as you want. If you're still hungry you can have more, or if you get full before you finish. That's ok too." 

She ate about 4 or 5 more bites and then stopped. 

"All full?" 

"I'm sorry.." 

"That's ok. Nothing to be sorry about. Are you feeling tired?" 

She nodded. 

"Do you want me to walk you back up to your bed?" 

She nodded. 

"Ok and remember if you need anything, just come and get me or Maggie and we'll help you. We're right down the hall." 

In the morning I walked in to wake her up, but she was sitting exactly where I left her. 

She didn't even adjust at all. 

I decided not to comment on it. 

"Ready to go back to the station? Your brother should be here today."
