~actually impressed with how many people read this ☠️ it's currently 3am and I just decided to come back to this fic after more than a year so hope it's better, but some stuff just can't be fixed (sorry 😭 but I would have to change the whole plot). At least the grammar I know it's better cause my English sucked ( still kinda does).
Cody's pov
It was finally vacation and my family was going to spend sometime at a cottage and my parents told me I could invite a friend to go with us.
The first person I thought about was Noah he is my best friend and I kinda have a crush on him, but he doesn't know it yet.
I soon decided to message him and ask if he would want and could come to the cottage with me and my parents, but honestly I think his family would be ok with it since I got to meet his family before and they were super kind, not to sound to confident but I think I'm already part of the family

me: soo my family is going to a cottage this vacation and they told me I could call someone to go with me

I was super happy that I would get to pass my vacation with Noah and couldn't wait to go to the cottage.
(time skip)*two days later
Noah's pov
I was outside with my bags waiting for Cody and his parents to pick me up while I read my book
I soon saw Cody's parents fancy car arriving, as it parked in front my house and Cody left the car coming in my direction.
Cody: hey Noah! need some help?
Noah: sure
Cody came closer and grabbed some of my bags and I got the rest following him to the car,placing my bags on the trunk and entering the car's back seat with Cody.
Noah: thanks for the help
Cody: no problem
I soon returned to read my book and notice Cody came closer and was staring at me
Noah: want something?
Cody: I was just curious about what you were reading
I just lifted the book showing him the cover with the title since it was a BoyxBoy, Cody's dad is kinda homophobic and I was not in the mood for drama, actually I was not in the mood to be kicked out of the car in the middle of nowhere.
Cody: oh I never read that one, is it good?
Noah: yeah it's pretty good if you want when I finished you can borrow it
Cody: thanks
Cody smiled and I just shook my head.
I once again returned to read my book but I couldn't concentrate because Cody kept looking at me with a nervous expression,the same he always did when he wanted to ask a question or favor but didn't have the courage.
Noah: Cody do you wanna tell or ask me something?
Cody: well yes..
Noah: what is it?
Cody: I'm really tired because I wasn't able to sleep this night and if it isn't to much to ask,can I lay my head on you lap so I can take a nap?
I let out a laugh and he looks at me worried
Noah: relax Cody,of course you can,come here
Cody opened a big smile and laid on my lap while I closed my book and slowly started to stroke his hair, he closed his eyes and slept, but I kept playing with his short, fluffy, brown hair.

(time skip)
after almost two hours in the car we arrived at the cottage,so I shook Cody to wake him up
Noah: Cody wake up we arrived
he slowly opened his eyes and looked at me
Cody: what?
Noah: we arrived
As I said that Cody got up like flash
he got out of the car and started to spin with a big smile on his face,I just stayed there admiring him,I unconsciously started to smile at him and I think he noticed because he stopped spinning and looked at me
Cody: wow Noah, you smiling like a idiot!
Cody came closer to me grabbing my arm and pulling me out of the car while laughing
Cody: you should smile more often! Being a grumpy emo is going a bit out of style.
Noah: yeah thanks,I just don't think is necessary to smile all the time as if I'm insane
Cody: Don't be so dramatic! At least I'm glad I was able to make you smile
I rolled my eyes in a playful way making him giggle
Noah: ok now let's get our bags
Cody: oh yeah about that don't worry about that someone will place our bags on our rooms
Noah: rich people cough cough
~just to explain myself it was cof cof instead of cough cough before because that is how people say/write it here in Brasil ( I swear I'm not dumb😭)
Cody: Noah! stop with that!
Noah: fine but after all where will we sleep?
Cody: we will share a room on the second floor
Noah: ok, so can you show me around?
Cody: of course!
and like that Cody started to explain about the places and stuff like that and well that of course was gonna be a long vacation but a good one
