Commander scrolled through his recommended on RoTube. There was so many cat videos! Which one could he pick? He couldn't as Medic busted into office unannounced.
"Did you run here in heels?" Commander asked as he looked at a clearly exhausted Medic. Medic swallowed her own spit, her throat stinging. She put up her hand, signalling to give her a second.
When Medic did manage to get her composure back, she tapped over to Commander and tossed the drawings on the table, pointing at them. Commander made a visibly confused face.
"You ran all the way here to show me ugly drawings of Gravedigger dead?" Commander guessed, but was promptly slapped on the back of the head by an angry Medic. "They are not ugly! My babies made these!" Medic crossed her arms, insulted.
"They can draw? I mean, better than Scout! But why would they draw the titan they came from dead?" Commander was looking through them, stopping at the one with the stick figures surrounding the dead Gravedigger.
Medic was rambling on about how she discovered it, but Commander wasn't listening, as usual. But he had good reason, something seemed familiar about how this was drawn. Stick people surrounding a dead person.
"Are you even listening?" Medic slammed the desk, making Commander jump. He blinked before taking off his sunglasses, looking down at the drawing again. "No. But look at this. Bunch of people surrounding a body? This looks like a funeral."
Now that Medic thought about it, it did seem a lot like it. It still left questions lingering. "Why would they have a funeral for Gravedigger? Unless something happened. But how, they could all survive a nuclear explosion! They're like cockroaches but mountain sized."
Commander couldn't help but laugh at the last statement. He should start calling the Titans that. But the troublesome theory was still there. Maybe he should send out a team out there to check.
"Where could they even be? We literally have no idea," Commander put down the drawing and leaned back in his seat. Medic thought for a moment, this would be an issue.
Then an idea popped in her head. A risky one but it might just work. "I think I got something that might just help." Commander straightened back up, "Well? Lay it on me."
Medic had her lab coat tied around her waste. She struggled to keep the Speedy zombie from breaking from her grip. But she had the chains wrapped around her hands and she pulled back, her muscles bulking.
The Speedy zombie wore a muzzle and metal mits that were also chained together. Towers, mostly the younger ones, were shaking in fear. There was literally an aggressive zombie trying to snap at them.
Medic yanked the chains, forcing the Speedy to quit trying to advanced forward. She went up to him, scratching the side of his head. At the touch, it went to its knees, enjoying the touch.
Commander kept a good distance away. He wasn't about to be attacked. "Are you sure this will work?" He was sceptical of the idea and still was. They could very well be lead on a wild goose chase.
"God a better idea?" Medic placed her hand her hip. Commander sighed, they really didn't. Medic looked behind, a driver coming up with a four wheeler. They quickly got off and booked it, not wanting to be zombie chow.
Medic pulled the chains a little and whispered, "Come on." The Speedy followed her, knowing and wanting to obey his handler. Medic locked the chains up to the front of the four wheeler. This was basically like a very demented sleigh ride.
