Commander tapped his chin as he stared at the map of the three regions they were going up against. They only had information on Rotfield, but even then it was limited. The other two regions, the Swamp and Totality Tower, were a mystery.
Ever since the incident at Rotfield, Commander refused to send any more towers out to scout areas. Commander couldn't bring himself to have those towers face the same fate as Scout.
However, that was costing him. Without any knowledge of the enemies they were going up against, they were pretty much going in blind. Commander would have to be careful with how he is going to go about this. A little mistake could lead to insane consequences for both his towers and the titans willing to fight with them.
As Commander scratched his head and stared down at the map, he was spooked as an unexpected voice sounded from behind him. "If Gravedigger was here, he would be quite the help. He knew anything and everything when it came to zombies and other enemies," Swordmaster spoke as he walked in.
Swordmaster looked down at the map and hummed, "Fallen King makes quite stunning maps, you have all your paths drawn at for you." Commander calmed down and stared down at the map. It truely was a piece of art.
"The map is a huge help, but we have no idea what is waiting for us. They're ready, but we are far from it," Commander huffed as he began to place little tower figures around the Rotfield area.
Swordmaster instantly saw the issue and began to offer his help. "You are trying to shove your entire army into the first area! That will surely spell doom!" Swordmaster lightly scolded as he began to take some of the pieces off.
Commander tried to stop him, but he was pat on the head like he was a little child. Well, the titans were much taller than him so it doesn't help.
"I've fought many battles where I've gone in blind, many others have as well. I'm sure this isn't new to you either, hm?" Swordmaster said, making Commander frown. The titan was right, this was not a first and it would not be a last.
Swordmaster began to move around some of the figures, showing Commander what he should be doing. "Rotfield is the smallest of the three regions, that means limited space. That means you should send in a small group of them to deal with minor pawns, while leaving the boss to more... 'stronger beings'."
Commander caught on to the last bit. He could send a titan or two in there, but he had to be careful with who he picked. He wouldn't want to send in Sinister or Molten Boss, the two would catch the place ablaze. He didn't want to throw Swordmaster in there either, the titan was still very much tired from his blacksmithing.
Fallen King could be usefull, Frost Spirit too. Frost Spirit could freeze the titan and Fallen King could deal the heavy blows. The duo could work well together.
"That isn't a bad idea..." Commander thought as he began to move around some figures. "I'll have some mortars and snipers up on the cliffs while I have some soldiers and scouts at the bottom filling them with bullets. I could maybe send a militant in. Then I'll come in with some minigunners and-" Commander was cut off as a hand landed on his shoulder.
He looked up, confused. Swordmaster was giving him a sorrowed look, something Commander has never seen the titan do. What was so wrong with the plan? It seemed like a pretty good one.
Swordmaster sighed and shook his head, "I feel like this is a region you should not visit. There are many commanders here that are just as capable as you." Commander went wide eyed then sneered, "I'm fine! I'm... I'm fine. Besides, I want to see that asshole for myself. I want to see him be riddled with bullet holes..."
