You woke up to the worst headache of the century. Your memory was foggy, but you clearly remembered knocking back more than just a few drinks. Though you wish you had, you didn't forget about Armin. The mind-numbing fact, that you gave him head, was unbelievable. You proceeded to pull your hair with both hands. A groan of agony left your lips. This led to Pieck's eyes fluttering open. She didn't say anything but quietly watched you lose your mind.

"Pieck, I actually gave head... and it was in front of so many people," you whispered loud enough for Pieck to pick up on. She nodded with doughy eyes and rose from her bed. You couldn't even use the excuse that you were drunk. You started drinking after it all happened. Sure, other people didn't know that, but your conscience did. You turned your head to face Pieck, who was equally as hungover as you. She was actively holding herself back from puking all over the place. You felt less like choking on your guts and more like throwing yourself against a wall. Mixed feelings of regret and frustration flooded you on the inside. Pieck scratched her head and watched her hair rise and fall, due to the low humidity. She seemed so unfazed by it all— you were panicking. She usually slept in her underwear, but this time, she was fully dressed from last night. There was a small puke stain on her dress. Luckily, none of you had classes today. You needed to take the day off to soak in self-pity. Pieck slipped into some shorts and a random top from laundry day and ran out the door... barefooted. The urge to throw up was definitely there, but your mind was too busy, mentally scolding you. Fuck. You thought to yourself, I should've never gone to that party. An exasperated sigh left your lips. It quickly turned into a burst of anger. Not that your fist did much impact on the wall. After having clutched your fist a while, your phone started buzzing. Weird... unknown caller ID. You picked it up anyway. What's the worst that could happen?

"Y/n?" What. The. Fuck. If you weren't panicked before, you sure as hell were now. The pace of your heartbeat quickened by the seconds. You felt incredibly hot all of a sudden. It stung your chest. How did Armin get your number? You couldn't have given it to him... right?

"I- um. I got your number from your friend. Her name is Sasha," he stammered. You were starting to believe in the term 'liquid courage'. He was vastly different last night. He didn't even hesitate when his name was called. Then again, you couldn't tell if he was drunk at that point or not. Does it even matter? You smacked your palm against your forehead and answered him in a defeated tone.

"What... did you need?" Your sigh only made matters worse. The other side of the line was silent for a moment, before replying with,

"I just thought, well, you're cool. We had a nice time last night— although you were drunk off your ass." Your cheeks heated up at the last remark. You wanted to lash out at him, but at the same time— burying your face in your pillow didn't sound like a bad idea. Beyond embarrassed, the only logical question to ask was,

"Were you sober the whole time?" You secretly dreaded his answer. Rather not hearing it, you were about to continue. However, Armin was quick to cut in front of you.

"Yeah, I was. I don't handle my alcohol that well," he chuckled. Why does his voice sound so- your thoughts were interrupted by the door to your room opening. A tired and dead-looking Pieck made her way inside, only to collapse on her bed. An audible groan emitted from her throat. It didn't even sound human.

"Listen Y/n, I was thinking we could go for some lunch today... or just hang out?" Whilst you did recognize the risks of going out with someone who Reiner was close to murdering yesterday, you were thinking about going. You entered a certain trance, just freezing, thinking about all your options. You knew that you weren't ready for a relationship. Would this count as leading him on? What if he was genuinely interested I'm you?
