1. It's Him

Prakriti's pov:
I sat up and took the piece of glass out of my feet. I slowly got up from the bed and took my jacket. I wore it to cover all the scars. I went to the door and wore my shoes. Then, I walked to the elevator while limping. I entered the elevator and pressed the button. I kept waiting to reach the ground floor. I noticed my reflection on the elevator. I looked exhausted. My eyes were red from all the crying. The elevator reached the ground floor and the door opened. I walked out of the elevator. I was looking around. I could see an outdoor restaurant area trough the glass wall. It was beautifully decorated. I was observing the decorations when I noticed a fimiliar face. It's him.

A drop of tear rolled down my cheeks as soon as I saw him. It has been 6 months since I have seen that face. I still remember the first day we met. How he saved me from the bullies. Should I tell him about everything that happened today. Will he still save me? Does he still care? I was lost in my thoughts. I saw a girl enter the place.

[Her Outfit]

She went to him and hug him. It was her. He still loves her just as much as he used to. Maybe even more. I never wanted to take her place. I just wanted a little place of mine somewhere in his heart. I never wanted him to love me back. All I wanted was him by my side. But he left me because of her. I lost my love, my happiness, my best friend, my only reason to live . Most importantly, I lost myself. A part of me died the day he left me. They were having their dinner while chatting. After finishing dinner they stood up. He forwarded his hand and asked her for a dance. She held his hand and they started dancing. After finishing dancing he took her to a beautiful sign. It said "D+K" he held her hand and got down on his knee. He took out a beautiful ring. She nodded her positively and bent down to kiss him. I couldn't see them anymore. I turned to leave but I bumped into someone. It was Sid bhai. I hugged him immediately.

Me: Bhai I missed you.
I said without breaking the hug

Sid: We missed you too. I tried to contact you so many times after that day but I couldn't. I know he hurt you a lot but Prakriti you know he is very short tempered. He must've hurt you a lot but he hurt himself more. Come back. Fix everything. Tell him the truth.

Me: There's nothing to fix. It already ended. He already said that it's all over

Sid: But Prakriti don't forget. The end of a road is the beginning of another.

Me: I should leave.

Sid: You're gonna leave your brother? AGAIN?

Me: That's not what I meant.

Sid: You are not going anywhere. You are coming to my house with me. I have so many things to say to you. So much happened in the last 6 months.

Me: hmm
I said looking back at them. Sid bhai noticed that.

Sid: Are you up for coffee? I know how much you love coffee. We will grab coffee before leaving. Cause you have to stay up all night today. We two won't let you sleep.

Me: two?

Sid: Saha and I moved in together after our engagement.

Me: YOU ARE ENGAGED?????? WOAH CONGRATS DUDEEEE!!!!!!!!

Sid: Calm down women. Are you gonna stand here all night? LETS GOOO!!!!
He said grabbing my hand and pulling me. I laughed at him.
