"Well that sucked.."

"Girl, that was all on you, not me"

"Do you think that I want this to happen?"

"Obviously no, but you should have never said anything"

"I was just standing there awkwardly, I wasn't thinking!" You exclaimed

"So now what? You watch over Mary while your own boyfriend is out with Elisa during the festival?" Fae asked summing everything up

"Basically" you sighed

"That's harsh, but at the same time, maybe this can be a good thing for you two"

"What makes you say that?" You asked looking over at her

"You have to have trust and loyalty in a relationship for it to work, so maybe this is a chance for him to prove if he really loves you and for you to prove how much you trust him" Fae explained

"But how would I know if he's being loyal if I have to watch over Mary?"

"That's why you have me, I can attend the festival by myself and just make sure that nothing is going on without them knowing"

"So you're going to spy on him?" You clarified

"If you want to put it that way, yes"

"I'm liking the idea already"

"I knew you would go along with it" she laughed

"You have to keep me up on all the deeds"

"No worries girl, I got you covered, where is he anyways?" Fae asked as you just shrugged

"How do you not know? You two are always around each other"

"Doesn't mean I know where he goes all the time" you said with a little laugh as Fae just stood up and looked around for a moment

"Well, now that you don't have to worry about him and the festival, we can just calm down a bit now"

"I suppose so" you agreed also standing up

"Want to go to my place for awhile and hang out?" She asked

"Sure, it's not like there's anything else to do here"

"Jack! No!" Mary shouted between laughter later that afternoon as all the kids were running around together playing

"Get 'em Jack!" Fae cheered from beside you

"Jack!" Mary shouted once more after he had managed to pick her up and toss her on his shoulders

"You're not a very fast runner" Jack joked looking up at his little sister from his shoulders

"It's not my fault you're tall" Mary pouted crossing her arms before immediately holding back onto him so she doesn't fall

"She's right, you got some long legs for a guy" Fae snorted now causing you to laugh

"Now we have to get the others" Mary said pointing out towards the other kids from the distance as they were trying to find places to hide to avoid being tagged

"You ready?" He asked her as she nodded when he kneeled towards the ground to allow her to get down so she can run alongside him

"We're rooting for you two!" Fae shouted cupping her hands to her mouth as Mary just smiled and ran off leaving Jack to follow behind

"Think we should join in?" She asked looking over at you

"Do you want to?" You asked

"It seems like fun, besides, it'll make it more challenging for him since we're older than the other kids, we can run a bit faster than everyone else"
