My hero (Tay k x nba ben 10)

Ben's Pov 

"Ben please i-" Tay starts but i stop him putting on a fake smile. "Tay you have nothing to apologize for. You can't help how you feel and your not being forced to feel any type of way i told you how i felt to get it off my chest. It's better that i know what you think now then me just being in the dark" I say and tay gave me a sad smile. 

"Nothings gonna change between us we still friends" I say and tay shakes his head. "How can i treat you the same it would hurt you" Tay says. "Naw it wouldn't it takes more then this to hurt my feelings and how can things be different when nothing happened" I say trying to mask how i felt. "What happened never happened starting now" I say. 

Tay looked at me with a weird expression but i quickly grabbed my phone looking down. "Joe texted me he said he needs me but don't worry i'll be back later" I say and walk over giving him a half hug and quickly walk out the door. Welp that hurt hut at least now i know how he feels. I'm still his hero and we still friends so at least that won't change. 

But maybe i should start keeping my distance for a little while.
