18 | Broken Chains

Brews Ailousos description: chocolate brown fur, with a darker brown tail, forearms, back legs, and ears. With Snow White neck fluffy and a rhombus shape in the center of her chest that was the same dark brown as her tail, and 2 stripes that went down her check from her eyes to her jaw on both sides of her face, with chocolate cream eyes

The next week was the same as it has been since i got here. Wake up, drink the blood the masked man gives me, try to figure out how to get out of here, go back to sleep, and repeat

I'm certain summer is over by now, the basement has gotten even colder threw the passing days and nights. The chains are cold and they have left marks on my wrists

The wounds on my face, shoulder, back, and anywhere else are painful. I clean them everyday to make sure they don't get injected

the blindness is still with me but now i can see VERY slightly. I can detect movements in front of me but i cant tell people apart

The masked man just makes me drink the blood, no longer paying much mind to me but that doesn't make me wanna end his life any less. The shorter man, Eric, has been spending a lot of his time down in the basement working at his science table and trying to make conversation with me

I usually ignore him but today one of his conversation starters caught my attention

Eric came down the rickety old stairs and i could feel his gaze on me for a few moments before i heard him walking over to his table and taking a seat. We sat in silence for a we minutes before i heard Eric mumbling under his breath. "No that wont work, i need to mix this and..."

After a few frustrated grunts i heard him lean back on his chair. Suddenly i heard the chair give out under Eric and i loud crash was heard towards him

His chair broke i thought. I heard Eric whine in pain and when i heard him stand, i was looking in his direction and we caught eyes, or we kinda did. He looked away i could almost feel his embarrassment

He went back upstairs and then came back with a new chair, he stayed at his desk for a few more minutes before he turned to me. "How are you kid?" Eric asked, i could feel his curious gaze. I growled slightly and turned my head away from his direction

He sighed deeply before speaking again "you know i didn't want to kidnap you... The masked man promised me and my family protection from some bad men I'm in trouble with, i had no choice...." Eric explained. His sob story was hurting my ears i wanted to tell him to shut up but i didn't have the strength

The only answer I gave was a deep grunt and snort. "I know there's no excuse to kidnapping you, and I'm sorry but you must understand i had no choice" Eric repeated

This time i used my last strength and spoke "i don't care, you and your boss ruined my life and trust me when I'm out of here you or your family wont be safe for long.." i threatened growling deeply at him

i heard him open his mouth to reply but he decided not to say anything. He looked down at his shoes for a few minutes before getting up and leaving the basement

A grunted before going being in golfed in a yawn, i laid down on the cold basement floor and fell asleep in seconds

I opened my eyes and saw that i was in a fields, the fields were vast and full of life. I watched as a family of deer grazed about 30 feet away from me, the dawn sun shown on their fur

A rabbit ran in front of me and looked at me straight in the eyes. I was surprised. I watched the rabbit hop over to some roses and then i recognized one of the roses the white rose with the one red petal! I thought excitement overcame me. My thoughts immediately dashed to Crimson and i scanned the fields for my best friend
