chapter 12 mission: keep him away
i was biting my nails and mom stared at me like i was crazy i stared back at her then she finally decided to speak
"why are you acting so nervous?" she asked confused then i thaught in my head i could tell you but then i'd have to put duck tape on your mouth to keep you from screaming
"no reason im just worried for Christy's sake you know?" i lied then mom smiled i do care for christy but me and her are just on different levels she doesn't get me at all and i don't get her either
"im glad you care for your sister so much Nessie you're finally acting like a sister" she said then i sighed and nodded mom got up and went into the kitchen; mike was at work still then i rolled up in a ball on the couch until that annoying dorbell had to break the silence
mom was about to answer the door until i said "Mom! i'll get it just go back in the kitchen" i said smiling as best as i could she looked at me confused but then she just shrugged and walked back in the kitchen i breathed a sigh of relief then i ran to the door and opened it there stood Edward in a green madres with blue jeans i just sang
"What do you want from me?" then she smiled and then i was serious "no seriously what are you doing here?" i said then he sighed
"look Nessie im really sorry for what happened at school i just-" i put my hand up
"don't appologize i've been hurt before i can take it" i said remembering me when i asked mom about where dad was she alway's lied but my mom's voice scared me
"RENESMEE WHO'S AT THE DOOR?"she asked screaming i covered my ears then i said
"mom were vampires stop screaming" i said then it was quiet so i explained "Christy's new boy toy" i said then mom got mad
"Renesmee Carlie-" i stopped her "mom stop saying my whole name i hate that i have dad's last name" i said pouting then Edward said "that voice sounds exactly like-" then i stopped him "like who? your hearing voice's now please wait and please don't come inside" i said then i screamed at Christy "CHRISTY GET DOWN HERE!" i screamed
she replied "COMING!" then she came down with a blue sun dress i just stared at her "umm christy in forks it's never sunny soo yahhhh..." i said looking at her dress then mom almost came in i screamed
"No NO NO mom you cannot come in seriously" i said then mom replied mad
"Nessie do you have something to say to me?" she asked i was sweating then i spoke to Christy and Edward
"can you guys go on your date now im about to get in trouble" i said then christy just smiled
"yep let's go Eddie" she said he seemed annoyed then asked me a question
"are we still friends Nessie?" he said sounding hopeful then i spoke my voice sounded ruff
"NO" then he dropped his head but otherwise nodded i hated making him sad but he made me sad first now he knows how it feels to be rejected
then i went into the kitchen mom was mad she screamed at me "Renesmee Carlie Cullen what did you just do?" she asked me
"im sorry mom but it was for a good cause really" i said trying to make her understand then mom sighed
"all i wanted to do was take a picture of Christy and her date" she said then i rolled my eyes
"not her date because he's not her mate" i said then mom was confused
"soo she can date people who aren't her mate she's only a teenager" she said then i sat on the couch
"you wouldn't understand" then mom crossed her arms and said
"try me" i just stared at mom she's stuck in an 18 year old body but yet she acts motherly to me and christy she is too machure compared to me
"fine he's ugly there" i said to mom she waited then spoke
"why do you care if he's ugly?" she said with her eyebrow raised then i sighed and spoke to mom again
"because who date's ugly boys? seriously mom" i said crossing my arms over my chest then mom laughed
"what's your good cause of keeping me away?" she asked then my breathj caught in my throat i didn't really have a good reason
"because i just don't want you to meet him okay!"i said half screaming at mom for no reason she looked sad
then i instantly felt bad "im sorry mom" then i went upstairs i wrote in my diary of what happned today but then a tear slipped down my cheek i wipped it away quickly sometimes i wished that i had a real family not just a half one i grabbed a book mom made for me of how her and dad met i read the first page
My mother drove me to the airport with the windows rolled down.....
then i read the rest of the page i knew that i was being mean to my family but sometimes i felt i didn't belong to this family i know eveyone say you're put into that family for a reason but i can't find my reason for being in my family both my parents are teenagers like me excellent right? no,for you maybe i looked out of my window then i saw a big guy and i instantly jumped up and down he always cheered me up
when i got downstairs no one was down there i grabbed my jacket and ran outside then i hurrled myself at him "hi unc-Emmet"i said i almost called him uncle he looked at me confused then said
"what were you about to call me?" he said then i whispered "nothing" then me and him hunted together he told me stories about the cullens that i didn't know it was fun until i had to go back home when i came back i opened the door silently then i turned on the light i heard screaming in the kitchen mom's voice was clear and so was mike's they were obviously in a fight i didn't want to intrude on them so i went upstairs
i started singing on my kareoke thing i sang "because of you" by kelly clarkson the window was open then i heard a car pulling into the driveway but i kept singing Edward was staring at me then i ignored his gaze and practiced on singing the lyrics then i saw christy kiss Edward i hissed then i saw Christy look up and glare at me i waved at her i saw her get into the house but what i didn't expect was something that sounded like glass shatter i covered my ears and then i heard Christy crying she came upstairs into my room with her makeup running down her face then i hugged her and tried soothing her.
"shhhhh christy it'll be alright" i said then she nodded wipping her tears with her sleave i knew why she was crying and i felt awful about it.
The next morning was better and worse better because no one was fighting but worse because they were ignoring eachother i just grabbed and apple and Christy refused to go to school she must be upset about the Fight when i came to school Edward was furious as soon as i came out of my car he screamed
"What did you Do TO Christy!?" he screamed i felt like everyone was blaming things on me so i slapped him hard in the face and ran to my friends fighing tears the whole way there
