You said you cared for me—that your heart aches every time my eyes water. Yet I beg to differ. You don't care about me. Because you don't leave the ones you care for, hanging. You don't lift them so high only to drop them whenever you want. You don't caress their hands only to replace your warmth with barren cold. You don't look them in the eyes with pure adoration only to watch them fall for your plot.
You don't hurt the ones you care for.
