CHAPTER 4

Kaden

For the first time in my life, I woke up very early and I arrived to class before the teacher. I was sitting in my seat waiting for everyone to come to class. Miss Blake walked in and when she saw me she gave me a weird look.

"Morning" she said putting her bag on the desk, today she was wearing a black dress pants that looked amazing on her with a white button up shirt, I leaned on my palms and watched her scroll through her phone waiting for the students to arrive.

"So miss Blake, right? I am so happy to be in your class" I said with a smile, she hummed ignoring what I said and kept looking at her phone. Why is she ignoring me. Rude. I can fix that attitude if I wanted to but I'll be good, for now. She looked at me with one eyebrow raised curiously, she probably heard what I said. She opened her mouth to say something but we were interrupted by someone walking in. I looked up and my heart dropped, I could hear my heartbeats in my ears. The guy from my dream, what was he doing here? He was walking towards me with the same creepy smile, I was starting to panic and froze in my seat. My breathing quickened and it was hard to see with the blur in my eyes. Then I felt myself fall to the ground and everything went dark.

I woke up panicking while holding my chest, I was sweating and breathing like I was running a marathon.

"Hey, hey it's okay Kaden" Konan said worried, I felt his arms wrapped around me trying to calm me down.

"Your teacher sent for me saying you passed out in her class, she was very worried about you." He said, I laid back on the bed and put my hands on my stomach.

"Kelian went to get you some blood, the nurse said you haven't fed in a while" I nodded my head and tried to control my heartbeats and make them slower, a technique that mom taught me.

"Also the Dean called mama and she'll be here in few minutes, since you've been sleeping for two hours" he explained, Kelian walked in followed by Lorde holding a bottle.

"Where did you get that?" I asked confused, I took a sip and let the cold liquid give me a refreshing feeling.

"We have a vending machine" Lorde said, a vending machine for blood? The door slammed open and Mama walked in with a worried look. She came closer to the bed and hugged me, I can feel her hands shaking on my back.

"Are you okay honey?" She asked, she put her hands on my face and I smiled at her sheepishly no thoughts in my head just happy she's here.

"Yeah, I've been having dreams about this guy trying to stab me. I saw him this morning in class then I woke up here" I explained, she sat on the bed holding my hand in a comforting way.

"What did he look like?" She asked curiously,

"He was tall, blonde with a beard and he had blue eyes but when you look at them you feel cold. I don't know he's so creepy, I can't even tell if he's a real person" I said, she nodded and started thinking for a moment.

"Was there someone in that class room with you?" She asked me, ah yes miss Blake, the hottest teacher I've ever met. I wonder where she is now, Konan said she was worried about me. That's so cute.

"Hello?" My mama said a little loud trying to get my attention, I was daydreaming about her again. I sigh in satisfaction and just smiled at my mama.

"She likes her teacher" Kelian explained, I stood up feeling much better following my mama out of the room.

"Where is this teacher you're talking about?" She asked.
 
  Kelian, Lorde and Konan went on their way because they had class and me and mama went to miss Blake's classroom. My mama was about to knock but I stopped her, I fixed my posture and uniform and cleared my throat then knocked on the door with a smile. She raised both her eyebrows, I just shrugged my shoulders and waited for miss Blake to open the door.

"Oh Kaden, are you feeling better?" She asked me, she said my name. I love it, oh my god say it again. I just chuckled and my mama cleared her throat ignoring me.

"Hi Blake, it's been a while" my mama said, wait, huh? I looked at my mama confused, they hugged and miss Blake smiled at her. My oh my her smile is breath taking. But how do they know each other, they seem close. Hmmmm.

"How's your mom Blake, tell her I said hi when you see her" mama said, miss Blake closed her classroom door and stepped outside so we can have a more private talk.

"Can you please explain to me what happened?" My mama asked,

"Kaden was in my class then she suddenly started daydreaming while looking at..." She looked at me for a second then back at my mom.
"...at the board. Then she started panicking and blacked out. So I took her to the infirmary" she picked me up, she....touched me. Might as well pass out again.

"So there was no guy in the room with you?" My mom said curiously,

"No, if there was I'd know" miss Blake replied back, so I was hallucinating? I don't think so, I am sure he was there. I looked at miss Blake confused, asking her if she's sure he wasn't real. She avoided my eyes and just held small conversation with my mama. That's weird...

"Honey, be more careful and if you need anything you just tell me" my mama said walking me to my dorm,

"Mama, I swear it felt so real. I heard the door slam, and I saw him walk in. It can't be just daydreaming?" I said trying to convince her, she sighed and kissed my forehead. She didn't believe me, maybe miss Blake is right. It was just another dream.

"I have to go honey, I left your moms worried" she said with a smile, I nodded and hugged her tight.

"Tell your brothers I said goodbye, and I love you honey" she said, I waved at her and closed my door. I went to the bed and laid there overthink everything that happened today.
