chapter 8: A brother's love

"I will not fail" haku said and weaved several hand seals and there was an ice dome surrounding Sasuke, Nemma and Mito. Then haku walked inside the dome like mirror structure and seemed  to be absorbed into one of the mirrors.

In the dome Sasuke, Nemma and Mito were seeing multiple of haku's reflections. Nemma tried throwing a kunai but it was deflected, haku then started throwing senbon needles from all angles, they were trying to dodge but could not avoid all of them, they were all panting heavily and bleeding "damn it" Nemma cursed as more needles came hurtling their way and they just barely dodges them, but haku did not let them rest, he sent a large wave of senbon to  Nemma, but before they could hit him Mito pushed him and took the hit

"MITO!"

Sasuke and Nemma screamed, Nemma ran to  his sister "Mito, Mito please, please wake up" he begged lightly shaking her but got no response

"No no no no no no no NOOO!!!" Nemma screamed seeing his lifeless sister's body on the ground

Suddenly red bubbly chakra similar to Naruto's kyubi chakra encased him, his eyes turned red with black slits on them, he looked at haku with hatred and malice in his eyes "what have you done, I'll kill you" he growled, his nails grew into claws and his teeth grew sharp
[No whiskers, this is not naru-chan]
All the needles in his skin popped out and the wounds they left healed instantly

Haku's eyes widened behind his mask, Nemma ran on all fours to one of the mirrors and broke the mirror deactivating the jutsu and held haku by his mask shattering it, he growled at him looking at him with hatred, haku shunshined away and appeared in front of the angered boy "just kill me, I am useless if I can't be Zabuza's tool" haku said, Nemma growled and lunged forward

Naruto's POV
I was sleeping and having a nice dream about hinata-chan when I felt a spike of chakra and it felt like kyubi chakra, I woke up and tried to distinguish the owner of that chakra and found that it was Nemma's chakra

I got out of bed and ran to the living room to see inari was crying near the door "inari, are you okay, what happened?" I asked kneeling in front of the boy "two big men came and took my mom, they said they would use her as a hostage" inari said between sobs "damn it, and I have to get to my team" I thought "I'll get your mom back" zoro said standing behind inari with his hand on one of his swords

"Really?" Inari said looking at zoro who nodded yes "thank you zoro-san" inari said, zoro looked at me "go" he said simply, I nodded and left

Sasuke's POV 
Nemma looked angrily at the guy who hurt Mito, he had this red bubbly chakra around him,

That wasn't Nemma

When the guy said to kill him, Nemma lunged forward ready to kill him but was stopped by naruto

Naruto's POV
I was jumping from tree to tree as fast as I could, Nemma's chakra was still getting stronger as I got closer, I tried sensing for the rest of my teammates chakra signs, when I felt Mito's I was horrified, hers was almost disappearing, that means she's hurt 'no no no my first time at being a brother and I'm already screwing it up' I said annoyed with himself 'don't worry I'm sure she'll be fine' kurama said
I sighed and went faster

As soon as I got there, I saw Sakura protecting Tazuna, Sasuke was standing beside an injured Mito and Nemma was about to attack haku, but before Nemma could attack. I intervened

3rd's POV
Naruto stood between Nemma and haku holding my brothers clawed hands by the wrist "Nemma I need you to calm down" Naruto said in a calm voice "grrr" Nemma growled "Nemma, Mito isn't dead" Naruto said to Nemma who looked shocked "really?" Nemma asked in a deep yet hopeful tone "yes we can still save her" naruto confirmed "are you sure?" Nemma asked, naruto simply nodded, the red chakra left his body, he blinked s few times and his eyes became blue once more and his claws reseeded "you really mean it?" He said in a quiet voice as tears streamed down his face "yes" naruto said, Nemma fell to his knees sobbing on the crook of Naruto's neck "I'm sorry Naruto-nii san" he said Naruto's eyes slightly wider but he gained his composure "it's alright" he said patting his back 'Naruto-nii san' naruto thought while kurama just smirked

Naruto shunshined with Nemma and dropped him beside  Sasuke, he went back and faced haku  "please, just kill me, I am nothing if I can't be Zabuza's tool" haku said looking down "I still do not understand your request but I shall grant it" naruto said walking up to him pulling out his kunai and was about to strike him down, but then haku's eyes widened "I'm sorry Naruto, but I still have one thing to do" haku said as he held Naruto's wrist and shunshined away and appeared in front of zabuza only to be impaled by kakashi's chidori which he was preparing for zabuza

Their eyes  widened as haku's lifeless body fell to the ground, there was silence, then Zabuza still went to attack kakashi, but before it could connect, naruto used  his kunai to stop him "what is your problem? Your friend, your comrade just died and your still concerned about killing us!?!?" Naruto yelled angrily "stop" Zabuza said "why should I, he died saving you-" "stop!" Zabuza said cutting him off, tears tricked down his face "I know he died for me" he said, but before he could continue they all heard clapping "wow, Zabuza the great demon of the mist can't kill a bunch of ninja, honestly what do I pay you for" a short man with a mustache said "well well if it isn't  Gato, I have been itching to hurt you" naruto said pulling out his ,
Raijin kunai ready to flash "let me kill him" Zabuza said clutching his sword "hmm, fine, but let me at least clear a path for you" naruto said throwing his kunai into the air, Zabuza nodded and as the kunai landed in his hand he flashed away.
