It was established, the finals of the chunin exams were in one month, felling pretty confident in his skills, naruto didn't worry too much, that didn't mean he slacked off, Kurama was still there to help him train all the way.

But at this moment other things were plaguing his mind, since his relationship with his siblings had improved, the reality of him leaving immediately after the exams really started to sink in,

And then there was hinata,

he couldn't shake off the felling of guilt, he had already admitted to himself that he had a crush on the hyuga girl, and felt terrible for leaving her, but he knew that at this point, he didn't belong here, and yet the felling didn't go away.

Naruto was pulled out of his musing when he saw Nemma and Mito approach him, "sup guys, what do you want" he said in a casual tone "well, dad wants to see you in his office" Nemma said, Naruto was confused 'why would Minato want with me now of all times' Naruto wondered, he shrugged, 'oh well, might as well humor them' he thought and nodded as he followed his siblings to the Hokage's Mansion where he saw Minato sitting on his chair with Kushina beside him "oh naruto, I'm glad your here" Minato said " why did you call me?" Naruto asked not wasting any time, Minato sighed "Naruto please, we can't go on like this, we are a family, we are so so sorry for how we treated you, please, come back home" He said pleadingly

"I can't"

"Naruto please, we are-" "Stop, its not because I don't forgive you, I let go of that grudge awhile ago but I can't go with you" Naruto said "why?" Kushina asked desperately "because I'm leaving with the straw hats immediately after the exams" "what?!" The whole family said in shock "nii-san, y-your leaving" Mito's said with tears threatening to spill from her eyes, Naruto didn't answer, but only nodded to confirm his claim "why?!" Nemma said confusedly "its not because of you all, i-its just that, *sigh* I don't belong here, everyone apart from few in this village hate me, Not only that. There is a whole world outside the villages, outside all the hidden villages, a whole ocean, the New world, most of these places can't be experienced through books, its like another dimension, I want to explore it" Naruto explained, the four just kept quiet as they processed the information, Naruto sighed and left the room.

Few moments later Kakashi entered inside as he too was summoned for some business, he heard everything, Minato motioned for Mito and Nemma to leave while he spoke with his former student

Minato sighed "you knew about this didn't you?" he said, Kakashi nodded "who else knows?" He asked "Iruka, Anko, Itachi and the people at his favorite ramen stand" Kakashi answered

There was silence for some time "you two know that there is no changing his mind on this" Kakashi stated "so why don't you try earning his forgiveness before he leaves, it will not get him to stay, but at least he will leave you good terms" he advised "*sigh* thank you kakashi, anyway, on with today's business"

Naruto was currently going to the hospital where hinata was, luckily she was in good condition and was set to leave the next day so Naruto decided to visit her
