Chapter 5

Y/N didn't know how long it has been, couple of days? A week?

Ever since Natasha told him about Vander, Silco taking over the last drop and not being able to find his sisters, he shut himself in, slept and didn't talk much. Ekko and Emily couldn't distract him since Silco men are looking for Y/N and Natasha won't risk him getting exposed even tho he hasn't spoken a word to her since she told him

Natasha Romanoff....Y/N thought to himself. This women saved him and is now risking her life for him. There was something about her. Something that told Y/N she has seen some shit but yet is somehow warm and comforting to him. One of the things that Y/N noticed when he met Natasha was the arrow necklace. As Y/N had a likeness for arrows and bows  Y/N thought it was cool.

Here he sat on the bed, fidgeting with a broken arrow that ekko found and brought him. He missed the last drop, his nest, Vander, Powder, Vi, everything. He wished it just went back to normal

He felt the annoying pain on the left side of his face and looked to the mirror on his left and starred at the reflection

Y/N didn't fully understand what happened to him. The blue light made it hard to hear from his left ear but his left eye....Y/N could see things that were far away seem close to him if he concentrated, like it enhanced his vision somehow. Y/N traced the scar, Natasha figured that since it wasn't fully healed and they don't know what the blue light is, anyone moisture like tears will hurt

Y/N looked towards the door and saw Natasha walking in with some food that he has never seen before. He also made note of the bag she placed down

Natasha:"I brought you some food?" She said with a little smile but it falted a bit when she noticed the arrow. Natasha looked at it for a few seconds, confusing Y/N but she then shook her head and sat the plate infront of Y/N
Y/N raised an eyebrow

Natasha:"It's called macaroni cheese" Y/N blinked before looking at it. He may be grieving but he was starving, so he dug in and as soon as he took his first bite, he went wide eyed "Good right?" Natasha smiled

Y/N:"Yeah it is.......thank you"

Natasha:"How's your head?"

Y/N:"Hurts still but not bad as it was" Y/N sighed, He might as well tell Nat "Whatever hit me. I-its made my left hard to hear things" Natasha frowned "And if I focus hard enough I can like see things clearly, even if it's far away" Natasha nodded as he took another bite

Natasha:"Seems like what this blue thing was, it's dangerous. Did Silco use this blue light thing?" Y/N shrugged

Y/N:"I don't know, we were locked behind the door when we heard it" Natasha sighed and ruffled the boys hair, which Y/N didn't fight against

Natasha:"So.. Emily and Ekko tell me you are a archer?" She said as she picked up the arrow Y/N was holding. It was the arrow Y/N used to kill that monster in front of Benzo's shop. "Why are you playing with a broken arrow" She asked. She knew but subtle movements and fidgeting that Y/N must have some to ADHD but he did he have a broken arrow

Y/N:"It was one of my trick arrows." Natasha raised an eyebrow

Natasha:"trick arrows?" Y/N nodded using his sleeve to wipe his mouth

Y/N:"One of my bomb arrows and i used it against one of those monster and...." Natasha looked into his eyes "I killed it" Natasha face showed no change. She simply held his hand

Natasha:"You did what you had too Y/N, we have red in our ledger. You did it to protect yourself and those you love" Nodded. She was right. He then heard Natasha chuckle a little bit
