Yu-Gi-Oh: Lost Memory

Part 10

"Who are you?" a voice asked from behind Ciana. Ciana turned herself and saw Serenity standing with a questioning look. Before Ciana could answer the question, Yugi, Joey, Tea, Tristen and Duke walked into the room but stopped in their step when they saw the mysterious duelist standing in the room. "What are you doing here?" Joey angrily asked that a strange person was in Mai's room even though this was probably the person who saved them earlier.

"I've given your friend more time, I'll try again later to free her soul from the shadow realm" was what Ciana spoke and walked past the shocked group. Ciana was walking down the hall and stopped when she heard a voice "Wait, please wait!" was Yugi's voice calling. Ciana stiffend didn't want to be with him alone yet. The sign that he had stopped the person signaled Yugi to continue talking "d..did.. did you rescue us from the water a few days ago?" asked Yugi. "I'm glad we were on time, you still have a goal to achieve" she said and then continued walking. "Who are you?" Yugi called after the person but got no answer came. Yugi looked at Yami who had a thoughtful look "Yami?" Yugi started but Yami interrupted him. "I have the feeling we know this person. But he doesn't want to be visible yet. It's not an enemy of ours" Yami indicated. The two walked back to Mai's room and Yugi told them what had just been discussed between him and the mysterious duelist.

Serenity explained what she saw when she awoke to a bright light "The person seemed to glow, but the first time I asked what he was doing I got no response. He spoke in a language I've never heard before" Serenity out and looked at Mai "She does look calmer don't you think big brother?" Joey looked at his sister and then back to Mai he nodded his head "Yeah, she seems to be breathing better" but his concern didn't go away.

Ciana walked into her room and there was Isizhu waiting for her with a worried look "You can't do this My Lady" Isizhu started but Ciana didn't want to hear about it "When people are in danger and especially when they are in the shadow realm I must help them, I've been given the strength to do that" Isizhu knew you could be stuborn "You're playing with your own life" threw out Isizhu hoping that Ciana would once think to herself and not sacrifice everything for another. "What have I got to live for Isizhu? too many things have happened and I'm done with it, I'll help protect the Pharoah and his friends and will help the Pharaoh defeat this evil, but after that it's done. It does not matter what happens to me i'm not important, I don't even know if I can go back or what will happen to me once I finish my vow" Ciana exclaimed in sadness. Tears welled up in Isizhu's eyes as she saw what all this did to the young lady in front of her. The ones strong lady where story's were told about, stood in front of her broken.

"You have so much to live for and I'm sure you can return. Don't be too hard on yourself and think about yourself for once," said Isizhu, who then looked up as the loudspeaker indicated that the duel between number 8 Isizhu and number 1 Kaiba was launched within 10 minutes. The duelists had to gather and so Isizhu left the room.

The final game was about to begin and Ciana decided to attend the game. When Ciana arrived at the duel platform, she saw everyone ready and had just found out that the eighth duelist was Isizhu Istar.

Ishizu prophesies that she will win, thanks to the ability of her Millennium Necklace to see into the future, Kaiba manages to systematically destroy Ishizu's Deck using "Crush Card" and "Virus Cannon". Yet, Ishizu manages to play "Exchange of the Spirit", forcing both players to switch their Decks with Graveyards, thus leaving Kaiba with only six cards in his Deck and Ishizu with her most powerful cards because of Kaiba's virus cards. In desperation, Kaiba attempts to Summon "Obelisk the Tormentor", Kaiba's God Card, while Ishizu, knowing Kaiba's intention, applied the "Sacrifice's Blast" trap on Obelisk that would force itself to self-destruct when it attacks, which would have caused Kaiba to lose. When Kaiba Summons Obelisk, however, Marik's Millennium Rod (the Millennium Item of Priest Seto, Kaiba's past life) gave him a flashback of his past self and a dead girl named Kisara in front of what seems to look like the "Blue-Eyes White dragon". He analyzes this and trusts in this card so he Summons it even if it is a card that is less power, but still having sufficient power to win. Kaiba does so and wins the game.
