Chapter 12 - Just Run!

Honey: "You took your sweet time."

Trois: "We got the job done, there's no need to be like that."

Honey: "Are you ready?"

Alison: "Yes let's go. The clocks ticking."

My eyes widened when Honey handed Trois a hand full of explosives and he pocketed a handful of what looked like bullets.

Alison: "Uh- wait..."

They both smiled at me.

Trois: "Haven't you told her, Honey?"

Honey: "Hasn't come up until now."

Trois: "Well, we've actually done this many times before."

Alison: "HAAH?!"

Honey: "Come on."

He took my hand and the three of us ran out the door.

Alison: "Hey, so... we never established where exactly we're going."

We stopped.

Trois: "Huh. She's right, Honey. Where are we going?"

Honey: "I don't know- just... away from here!"

His determination has gotten a lot stronger.

Honey: "We need to get you somewhere safe! And we need to do it right now-!"

Alison: "Honey, it's okay."

He seemed just as afraid as I was. I wrapped my arms around him.

Honey: "I won't let anyone take you away."

I smiled.

Alison: "Well that's why we're doing this, right?"

He nodded. We got spooked when the alarm started blaring.

Alison: "What?!"

Honey: "DAMN IT!"

Trois: "We've stayed here for too long. Move, go!"

We ran.

Guards: "Stop, inmates! There's no escape!"

We turned to see a group of guards chasing us.

Alison: "Shit! What do we do?"

Trois: "I got this."

I stopped and turned around when I heard an explosion. Trois had thrown up a couple explosives which caved in the ceiling. Though I didn't notice that a loose bit of rubble was about to hit me.

Honey: "Look out!"

Suddenly I got pulled into his arms by what felt like wires wrapped around my waist.

Alison: "What just happened?"

I looked down to see that I did indeed have purple wires tangled around my waist.

Alison: "When did this happen?"

Honey: "I wrapped my wires around you. Just in case."

I smiled when his cheeks went slightly pink.

Trois: "They're getting through."

I looked to see the guards on the other side were trying to climb over the rubble. I stepped forward.

Honey: "Ali...?"

Alison: "You two might wanna stand back. It's about to get warm in here."

I flicked the cap off the whisky bottle and filled my mouth. I then held up my lighter and spat into it, shooting the fire at the guards climbing over the rubble, giving the tiny fire in my hand the force of a flamethrower. I took a couple deep breaths, wiped my mouth, and turned back around.

Alison: "Ta da."

They were both in shock.

Trois: "That was incredible."

Honey: "My girlfriend is a fire breather...?"

Alison: "Mhm. Self taught."

I walked past them, nudging Honey's arm.

Alison: "Don't piss me off, kay, Hon?"

Honey: "Y- yes ma'am."

I laughed as we kept running.

Jesse Waldock: "This is pure fiction. Fire breathing is incredibly dangerous. DO NOT try and teach yourself. Stay safe, luvs."

However, we got a fright when we turned a corner and Kiji was standing right there, glaring at us, clearly mad. We turned to run back the other way.

Kiji: "Not."

We froze.

Kiji: "So."

We turned around slowly.

Kiji: "Fast."

His piercing glare was terrifying.

Kiji: "Alison."

I flinched.

Alison: "Y-yes, sir..."

Kiji: "When you became my inmate number 41... what did I tell you about making me mad?"

Alison: "N... not to..."

Kiji: "EXACTLY!"
