i went back to casita to go pack up some things, not a lot.

and then i tried to use anything i could to try and find her, i picked up the note and put it in my back pack.

then i went to the door until i heard a voice behind me.

"camilo, where are you going?"

i turn around quickly, startled.

"mirabel! oh hi, sorry... i... good morning i didn't know you woke up so early heh..."

i scratched my neck awkwardly. my smile turned into a terrible grin.

"uhm... yea, i do. are you running away?"

"what! no, no! i..."

i'll just tell her the truth.

"y/n is missing."

"what!?"

she almost yelled.

but i grabbed her and we walked outside.

"are you serious!? what happened!?"

she asked whisper yelling at me.

"look, she left me a note saying she went to go look for her dad but... her dads dead. how can he be alive?"

i showed her the note.

she scanned it quickly then handed it back.

"what the... how did she even know he was gone? where did she even go to look for him?"

"i don't know! thats what i'm trying to figure out."

"wow... so how can we find her?"

"we!? oh no, mirabel this is a camilo job only, meaning it's only gonna be me okay? i don't want you getting hurt! or getting lost, or something like that."

"camilo, i won't! i wanna help, this is just so odd."

"but i can do it myself okay? it's alright."

"camilo! seriously please, let me help!"

"fine, you can help."

i saw mirabels face light up.

"by covering for me while i'm gone."

"what! no, i mean go with you! i wanna go with you camilo. i know i only knew her for a few days but i wanna help!"

"ugh! fine! whatever, let's go."

"yes! oh wait, let me grab my things hold on!"

she ran in the house.

i groaned.

i can believe i'm letting her come.

i was driving off, following wherever my gps said.

i was scared, i didn't even know where i was going or if this was safe.

i had never tried to teleport to a place i've never been to before that's why i never tried.

plus using a car would be ten times easier because i could use gps to get there.

i felt my stomach rumble.

i don't know if this was because i was anxious or because i was hungry.

i looked around to see if maybe i'd find a place to eat.

but there wasn't any on the way.

i had a few minutes left in my journey, so maybe i would just wait a bit.
