The two of you walked together inside Sovieshu's office, though the two of you had seem to be holding hands, as soon the both of you entered that was the first thing Sovieshu saw

His half-brother and You holding hands as if you two were lovers, something felt off when the Emperor had noticed that, it was different it was a spark of anger he hadn't felt after the divorce with Empress Navier

He softly clears his throat to get Yours and Duke Aspek's attention, successfully gaining both your attention you two quickly realize that you were holding hands this whole time

You quickly pulled your hand away from his, from the side Duke Aspek was definitely displeased by this, he turned his head to look at Sovieshu who was the source of you letting his hand go

He shot Sovieshu a glare as to which Sovieshu glared back at him "I hope you two have a good excuse as to why many saw both of you going to a fancy restaurant together" Sovieshu said, displeasure evident in his voice

You felt as if you were frozen in place, the thought of saying the wrong thing could surely make the Emperor want to bring your family into this, and you surely didn't want any of the children to get involved in such situations

When you were about to speak, to Your and Sovieshu's surprise, Duke Aspek was the first to talk "Well your majesty the servant you assigned to give Lady Y/n here a tour got sick, so me being the only one with a 'Kind heart' here I personally volunteered to give her a tour" He Explained

The Emperor scoffed"And how does that answer why you two were seen together? At a restaurant famous for lovers nonetheless!" He exclaimed, Duke Aspek only smirked "This is why you should let people finish to what they were saying, Ahem... As I was saying I gave her a tour myself and I also gave her restaurant recommendations...."

He looked back at you putting an arm around your waist before continuing"I admit, I am guilty for tricking My lady to go to a restaurant for lovers with me, after all who could ever resist such a beauty like hers?" His words made you flustered

It was no doubt Duke Aspek was good when it comes to his words, You finally snapped out of your little trans and came back to reality

"Everything he said is true Your Majesty, Aspek was only giving me a tour, and it's partially my fault for falling for such.... Flirtatious advances from Aspek" You vouched for Duke Aspek

You sigh and held Duke Aspeks wrist "Now if there's nothing else you want to say to us then we'll get going now" You quickly drag Duke Aspek by his wrist out of the Emperor's office

You two headed to your part of the palace to get some alone time together and to possibly make up for the lost time being inside Sovieshu's office

After You and Duke Aspek had left Sovieshu's office, he was shocked to say the least

'The two of you already in that step?!' he thought, he noticed how you had said Duke Aspek's name without addressing him to his title as Duke, The way you got flustered when Duke Aspek put his arms on your waist

The way you got flustered by Duke Aspek's compliment, it completely enraged him seeing his half-brother get all lovey dovey with his concubine

Yes that's it, he was enraged because of his hatred for his half-brother nothing else, Sovieshu ran his fingers through his hair in frustration trying to convince himself that his hatred for Aspek was the only reason and nothing more

But he knew that deep down, there was something else but he just wasn't sure if it was true

I kinda got caught up in classes so I couldn't have the time to write, but luckily this time i finally finished this chapter! Also Happy Valentine's everyone!
