(y/n and nat are 10 years apart, nat is 36 and y/n is 26 and yelena is a year older and Wanda is 32)

it was early in the morning, I wake up due to the sun shining through the window in mine and nats room

I turn away from the window and frown as I feel that the spot next to me is cold and empty meaning nat already left

it's been like that for the past 3 months, me waking up to an empty bed then going to the kitchen seeing the dinner table with sheets of paper scattered everywhere and drops of coffee left on the counter.

Natasha and i have been dating for 3 years and she has been really distant and no longer looks at me with admiration,love, lust and desire. our "relationship" has been feeling one sided and It hasn't been the same like it was in the beginning that was filled with making love, kisses, cuddling, and a bunch of other perfect things that made me have butterflies but I've been really scared to bring up the topic because I'm scared she might lash out and scream at me or worse...

when I try to cuddle or just show any affection she makes an excuse to leave the room and at night she doesn't hold me and won't even say "good night" and I don't even remember the last time we had sex or kissed like we couldn't get enough each other and she's always on her phone and if she's not then she's at work

So before I decide to ask her and accuse her of being distant I think for a minute and think "what if its just me?" And "what if I'm the problem?" So I decided to make her, her favorite meal and will drop it off after since I don't have to work today

After 2 and a half hours of cooking while screaming the lyrics to Adele's songs im done, and I know nat doesn't drink coke because it's bad or whatever so I brought her a water just in case

I'm making my way to her office and pass by my best friends Wanda and Yelena "oh hey Wanda, hey Lena!" I say with a beaming smile "hey...what are you doing here?" Wanda asks a bit suspiciously "HEY Y/N" yelena says throwing herself on me and wrapping herself around me like a koala almost causing me to drop the food
"I missed you too Lena, and I'm just here to check out some information for a mission and bring nat some lunch because I was in the mood for cooking" I reply to Wanda's question and yelena let's go of me

"oh well I think she's in her room or office looking at information for the next mission" yelena shrugs and I nod "okay thanks but I might check out the files first then go to nat" I say but then change my mind seeing the time and walk to nats room and walk in to see a empty messy room with her covers everywhere and just a really messy room
but I ignore that and just note to myself to clean that for her after I drop off the food

As I'm now reaching her office that is in the far back far from other offices I hear moaning and the sound of nats voice and someone else's voice that I can't make out yet but once I reach her office window I peak my head enough just to see her and Wanda making out and nat trailing her mouth down to her neck and moving Wanda's hair out of the way to reveal several purple patches on her neck while im just staring as tears start to roll down my cheeks leaving marks of my mascara and I hear nat say "you're so beautiful, I can't wait to start a family with you" she says sucking on Wanda's neck as Wanda moans with her eyes shut while hold nats breast and mumbles "fuck" as nats hand goes down her

Im trying to look away but I'm in so much shock I don't know what to do but i then back away from the window after hearing nat say "you're the most beautiful girl I have even seen" I hear as Wanda moves up and down and before I see more and I move my shaking hand to cover my mouth with wide eyes trying not to make a sound, trying so hard not to sob out loud, at this point I'm finding it hard to breathe I'm walking out of the office area also throwing the food away because just the thought of food makes me want to vomit. As I walk out I hold my chest trying to breathe but it all just come out as short breaths and I don't make a sound not once with tears spilling out of my eyes every 10 seconds.

I stop at the door and knock twice and hear some shuffling on the other side "IM COMING" I hear her yell in the other side and she opens the door "oh hey" she says out of breath "what's wrong?what happened? Are you okay?" She asks at the same time with furrowed brows noticing my stained cheeks and uneven breathing and gasps for air

"please Lena I don't know what I did. im sorry.im so sorry." I say and just keep chanting 'sorry' as she brings me into her room and pulls me onto her bed wrapping her arms around me and brushing her fingers through my hair "what are you sorry for silly?" she's asks picking up my face that was resting on her chest

"I'm so sorry I don't know what's wrong with me" I say sniffling "nothing is wrong with you dummy...just tell me what's wrong" she says with a weak smile and I don't respond but burry my head in her chest "it's okay you don't have to tell me but whenever you're ready I'm right here okay?" She tells me and lays back turning on her TV "wanna watch a movie?" she asks changing the subject "yes please" I mumble and she puts on 'Love Rosie' even though she hates romance movies she knows this is my favorite movie "thank you Lena" I say looking up at her since we're both laidback on her pillows "of course, I'm your best friend I'm here for you, always and forever" she smiles and we get comfortable and watch the movie

After about half way through the movie I speak up "nat cheated on me" I mumbled "I'm sorry, what did you say?" Yelena looks down at me with a puzzled expression "nat is cheating on me" I say as my eyes get watery again she pulls back and looks at me with wide eyes "y/n what are talking about..?" She says still really confused if she heard me right as tears are streaming down my face again "remember how I told you I came to drop off food for her..." she nods "well I went to go look for her in her room and she wasn't there so I went to her office and- and I heard moaning noises so I looked through the window" I pause "and I saw her and Wanda..." I sob out and yelena pulls me in and holds me in her arms "I don't know what's wrong with me" I say sobbing " I don't know what I did wrong . I'm so sorry" I say finally letting it all out

"Stop apologizing. You did nothing wrong. You were nothing but perfect to her. She's just so fucking stupid" yelena says rubbing my back and I just sob into her chest staining her shirt "she was talking to her about starting a family and - and" I start but get cut off "y/n please stop talking you're just gonna hurt yourself even more" she says frowning

"We could go beat Wanda up if you want and I'll beat nat up and I'll let you finish her" she says as if it's a joke but I know she's not joking because she sounds really pissed off and starts to get up but I pull her arm, bringing her back down and hug her "no no please can we just stay here and I'll figure out what to do later" I say looking out the window in her room

"Fine. sure whenever you're ready" she says and we lay back "thank you so much lena" I say hugging her tighter "of course idiot I'm always here whenever you need me" she says kissing my temple "I'm kinda tired" I say starting to still my breathing "it's okay, you can sleep, I'll be here when you wake up" she says and after some time my breathing evens out and I fall asleep with a tear and mascara stained face.

Please tell me what you think they should do because I'm not sure and before you say "y/n and yelena should get together" no. They are ONLY best friends and that's just how their friendship is but please suggest something and comment bc u love seeing all the feedback. THANK YOU<333
