Rachels pov :
Finn and I arrived at the hospital and we walked in to see Burt and Kurt waiting for the doctor we ran up to them , "Where is she ? What happened ?" He asked them panicked. Burt could barley talk he was just there in shock .
"I.....I came home from work and I walked into the kitchen and saw her there on the floor there was blood on her face and in the kitchen. I just don't understand how this could happen the doctors told us that she had months . We were suppose to do this trip to Hawaii, she's never been there and now she won't get to . " He said sobbing. "She was suppose to come over so we could talk . " Finn said . "We were supposed to make up and talk . Now I may not get that chance . " He said. I wiped my tears and then the doctor said , "Carol Hummel? " we all stood up . "How is she? " Finn asked . "She's awake but she doesn't have much time left . " he told us . "Can we see her ? " Burt asked. "Yes of course , but only one at a time . " he said and walked away. "Burt you wanna go first ?" Finn asked him. "Sure I'll be back. " he said and left.
Burts pov :
I walked into my wifes hospital room seeing her like this broke my heart the last time I felt this much pain was when Kurts mom passed away and now Carol I just don't know if I can take it . She smiled at me and said , "Hi honey . " I sat down and said, "You scared the hell out of me . " I said. "I know I'm sorry . " She said. "I wish we had more time , I know its selfish but I love you so much Carol and I need you to be here and keep me in line , I need you to love me and support me and losing you it breaks my heart . We were suppose to die together hand and hand . " I told her . "I know honey but listen we will be together again . I promise . " She said . "Please don't leave . " I begged . "I will never leave you Burt Hummel because I will always be in your heart . " She said. "I love you Carol . " I said with tears in my eyes. "I love you too Burt . " she said and kissed me .
Finns pov :
I walked into my moms room. The moment I saw her I ran to her and cried in her arms . "Shhh... honey its okay .its okay. " She told me . "No its not you were suppose to watch Rachels and I get married and hold your grand children for the time now you won't get to do that . " I cried . " I will always be there watching over you Finn . No matter where I am . And I will always love you. " She told me . "Don't go mom please don't go. " I begged . "Oh honey God has bigger plans for me and you and this is just one of them . " she said. "Buts its not fair your the only thing I have left of dad . " I said . "Thats not true Finn , you have Burt and Kurt and Rachel and now you have two beautiful little babies on the way that are going to need you and adore you . You are going to be a dad and that is the best thing you could ever have . " she told me . "I love you mom." I said. "I love you too honey . " she said and gave me a kiss and the cheek .
Rachels pov :
I was last to see Carol . I took a deep breath and walked into my mother in laws hospital room. She smiled when she saw me and said , "Hi Rachel. " I walked over to her and gave her a big hug . "How are you honey? " She asked. "I'm...I'm scared ." I told her. "Why?" She asked. "What if Finn decides he doesn't want to be with me ? what if it's too much for him ?" I asked. She chuckled, "Oh Rachel , Finn adores you , he won't ever leave you he wasn't raised that way. He loves you and those babies so much . He would do anything for you. " She said. "Really ? How do you know? " I asked. "I just do . But I need you to make me a promise . " She said. "Of course. What is it ?" I asked. "I need you to be there for Finn after I die , to hold him and just hold his hand let him know your there for him because thats all he needs to be loved . Can you do that for me ?" She asked me? "Of course mom . " I said. She smiled and said , "I am so happy that Finn found you . " She said. "Me too . " I said and held her hand . Suddenly she started to cough , "Carol! Carol! Someone help!" I yelled . The paramedics then ran in with Finn and Burt. "Her heart rates coming down !" One of the nurses said . Before they could do anything else her heart stopped she took her final breath and then dead silence. We all stood there quietly for a moment and then the doctor said , "She's gone . "
