I don't own Naruto.

Her eyes fluttered open and she looked around her. She was surrounded by a muggy darkness and she couldn't see much around her other than the imposing Gedo statue before her. er heart raced as she tried her hardest to get away from it. An old man sat beneath the statue and he watched her with unamused eyes as she scrambled away from the statue. When she was a good distance away from him, he shook his head at her and stood. "So, you're the one that dared to stand up to me... Pitiful." He sighed and her eyes widened in fear as she realized who the old man was.

"Madara..." she stammered and he only managed a small grunt as he flew through hand signs. She flinched away from him as he reached to touch her forehead, squeezing her eyes shut the moment his fingers made contact with her. She waited for the sound of him sitting down once more before she cracked open an eye to see what he had done. She saw no noticeable difference until she realized her clothes were now baggy on her and her sandals were now a few sizes too big. She looked at her hands and noticed they were slightly smaller as well. She rushed over to the small body of water in the cave and looked at her reflection.

Her hair was the same length, but she was younger. Her eyes began to water as she continued to look at her reflection. She was younger, but why? She sat back on her feet and looked over at him silently. He just sat there with his head propped up on his hand. "W-why?" she asked and he showed no interest in her strife. He just sighed deeply and continued to watch her. "You wanted to stand up to me, but now you cower before me like the little insignificant weakling you are..." he said as he watched her. "Did you really think you could do anything about me? Even in this state you're scared of me." He said and her lips trembled.

He was right... even in the near-death state he was in sitting before her, she was still terrified of him. What could she do? If she tried to attack him even now, she didn't know how strong he was so he could still kill her no matter what... she bit her lip as she struggled to stand, holding onto her clothes so they didn't fall off of her. He also put her at a disadvantage by de-aging her. not only were her clothes too big and would hinder her movements, but she also didn't know if she could use any of the jutsu she had learned... She pulled a hair tie from her vest pocket and used it to tie a loop in the hip of her pants so they wouldn't fall off. She then tied a knot in the hem of her shirt so it wouldn't be so baggy as well.

Even though her clothes were less hindering to her movement now, she wasn't going to attack the man before her. "What do you want from me?" she asked and he scoffed at her. "I want nothing from you, you were the one who challenged me. So, if you think you can stop me, then go ahead and do it. Try your best." He said with a smirk. She fisted her hands at her sides, thinking of how she could try to stop him, only for a thought to cross her mind. "Why did you make me younger?" she asked and he frowned at her once more.

"You said you wanted to stop me, so you have two choices in how you can do so. Either kill me here and now, or you can go try to save him from me out there in his time. So, make your choice and I will even give you a bit of assistance in your attempt."

Her eyes fluttered open as she struggled to push herself off the ground. She sat up and looked around her, trying to figure out where she was. She thought about the sgreement she had made with Madara and figured she could do her best to stop him. 'I can make it to where it isn't suspicious that you randomly show up in the village. You'll be a late admission student and no one will be the wiser. That will be all the assistance I will offer you, though. If I succeed you will go back to your own time, if you succeed, I will leave the boy alone.' She was going to do her best to try and save Obito, she had to.

She looked around and noticed she was on the ground outside of the academy. She looked around and saw a group running over to her. Teachers all surrounded her and continually asked if she were ok. She nodded and they proceeded to ask what had happened to her. "I... I don't know..." she said and they frowned. "Come on then, let's get you to a medic." One teacher said and she took his hand as he led her away. She followed behind him, but turned and looked behind her to see a group of twelve year old's gathering at the entrance to the academy.
