A love so ancient,

I know him blind, by touch alone

A cathedral of long lost memories,

I was full of heartache and poetry-

Dear child of the stars, my soul is gone

False heavens and mourning tides,

Those unspoken poetry in your eyes-

Sadness and poetry as synonymous as life,

Your laughter sings for a thousand lifetimes

For a stark moment under the stars, we're briefly gone

A secret language, only lovers knew

Stealing stars, from lifetimes afar

Someone I never speak of, but mourn everyday-

For you my love, I'd break the moon.

To the boy who showed me the stars,

You didn't belong with me darling

Your place remained among the stars,

Where lost souls shared poetry.

Summer might be happy, but the winter was always singing

Just how I loved you once.
