Part 7

Mias POV:
I couldn't sleep, the drugs had worn off completely and now I just felt sad. I was terrified of the looks on Nate's mums face when she saw him lying in a pool of his own blood and I couldn't close my eyes without seeing his face staring back at me.

He was a tosser, a player, his morals were completely twisted, but we'd always been close friends.
I couldn't hear any movement in the house, meaning if Fez was awake, he was being quiet about it, and slowly, the quietness consumed me, pulling me into a deep sleep.

'Wake up bitch I need to talk to you!' Rue shouted, banging on my door.

'Go away Rue.' I groaned, rolling over and hiding my head under my pillow.

She threw open the door and sat on my bed, holding both of my hands and looking at me.

'I know what you're gonna say. He's a good person he's just protecting me.' I mocked, watching as she pulled a silly face at me in return.

'Mia he's devastated just listen to him pleaseeeee.' She pleaded.

'Not at the moment Rue Rue, he needs to focus for the next couple of days and not on me.' I whispered.

'Just promise you'll think about fixing things with him once he's done his deal?' She asked.

'Promise.' I groaned. She kissed my head and ran from the room, leaving the door wide open.

Fez looked in and caught eye contact with me, coming to sit besides me, going to reach for my hand but pulling it away as soon as he did so.

'Hey I uh, I can't do this without you.' He said after a moments silence.

'Fez you can.' I sighed.

'No, no no no you don't understand.' He panicked, shaking his head, leaning closer to me.

'Fez, we will talk in a couple of days. For now you need to go, and I need time to think.' I whispered.

'Kiss me.' He begged. I shook my head and he forced me to look at him. I couldn't resist him but I tried so hard.

'Please.' He whispered, his eyes tearing up. I grabbed his face and forced him to kiss me hard, letting my tongue slip into his mouth.

He pulled me ontop of him and I let out a small moan, making him stop completely in his tracks.

'You sound so good when you moan for me.' He smiled, kissing my forehead.

'Come on, you should go.' I said, coughing slightly and getting off of him.

'Promise me you'll text me?' He asked.

'Yes.'

He nodded, standing awkwardly with his hands in his pockets, looking around the room.

'Bye love.' I smiled calmly.

'Bye.'

I watched as he left the room and rolled back over, groaning loudly, my mind darting back to the look on Nate's face. I needed to visit him, but Fez would hate me even more than he already did. I listened to the sound of his car driving away from my house and I fell back to sleep once more, wanting to sleep the day away. It worked, I woke up at 8pm, Rue had done the same, the only reason I woke up was because she was smoking besides me, poking my face.

'Rue come on.' I groaned.

'No you come on, it's been an entire day already come on we've got one night until the boys are back let's have some fun.' She smiled.

'No drugs.' I whispered, thinking about what Fez had said to me.

'No drugs.' She promised. I raised my eyebrows at her but trusted her non the less.

'Get up and dressed we're going to the fairrrrr.' She danced,spinning me in circles.

I laughed along with her, waiting for her to leave my room before checking my phone, seeing missed calls and texts from Fez.

Fez: hey gorgeous I hope you're doing good.
Fez: princess answer me I'm worried.
Fez: god damnit I don't have time for this shit.
Fez: wake up.

Me: Fezco im awake.

Fez: call me by my full name one more time and see what happens.

Me: Im going to the fair

Fez: okay mamas have fun, don't come near me. Please

Me: didnt you already get your drugs?

Fez: yes, and that's why we gonna sell them tonight.

I smiled a little, knowing Fez would be around, so I made sure my outfit was pretty.

'Let's go LETS GO!' Rue shouted, pulling me to the door.

'Is anyone else going?' I asked.

'Maddy was gonna go but she's sobbing by her boyfriends deathbed sooo.'

'Hey, Rue, don't say that.' I interrupted.

'He deserved it.' She shrugged.

I ignored her and locked the door behind me, and we walked the short distance to the fair. The flashing lights and loud music was getting closer and I began to see everyone we knew.

'Why is the world here?' I laughed.

'It's the only exciting thing to ever come to town, gotta make the most of it. Probably here for drugs anyway.' She added.

'You knew Fez was coming?' I asked in disbelief.

'Nooooo, look, I'm gonna go and see my sister, I'll be back in half an hour, be safe.' She smiled, squeezing my shoulder and running off in another direction.

I was hungry, so headed over to a nearby pretzel stand.

'Hey what can I g-' a young voice said, trailing off when we both realised who the other one was.

'Fuck sake Ashtray why do you have to be here.' I groaned.

'Hey Fez your girl's here!' Ash shouted. I saw his face light up when he saw me.

'I told you not to come near me.' He groaned, grabbing my waist and pulling me close.

'I clearly couldn't resist.' I smirked, I wanted to play with him.
