The boy sat down as his private tutor handed him his final high school exam paper. His life has always been like this, from his room to his class then to his room again. He barely said anything, he always held his pendant whenever he was not doing anything.

Ever since he was born, he only knew three people; Uncle Jude, Mrs Williams and Aliana. He didn't have any contact with the outside world, no internet and no friends.
He wrote the math test skillfully as he is very intelligent. His book is his best friend.

When he was done, Mrs Williams smiled at him and left. She didn't show it but she pitied him so much, he was like a son to her but was forbidden to discuss anything with him other than tutor him. A maid came and served him his Lunch, he ate silently ignoring the stares of pity from the maids.

He looked around and his eyes stopped when they met a familiar pair of grey eyes. The person whom Mrs Williams advised him to talk to. The person who Mrs Williams introduced as his sister. He only knew the meaning of sister from his social studies textbook. A person who shares the same parents with him.

The person whose eyes were always filled with pity, regret and pain. The person who only stared at him for nothing greater than ten minutes every day. If they shared the same parents, why can't she talk to him? if they shared the same parents, why can't she live in the same house with him? If they shared the same parents, why can't she take him away from here?

Isn't that what siblings are meant to do for each other? Or is his social studies wrong about siblings relationships?

He looked away and went to his room, his room that had everything but was still empty. He has everything he needs but felt like he had nothing. He has expensive branded clothes but still felt naked.

This has been how his life is, from when he could remember.

Aliana glared at him as he averted his gaze from her and left to his room. She couldn't do anything, her limbs were always paralyzed whenever she saw him, even if she wanted to do something she couldn't. He had her tied around his stinky fingers. If she tried to do anything, her brother would pay the price.

Twelve years old Aliana sneaked her way into the room of her seven years old little brother. The little boy was playing with his periodic table chart, he was deeply engrossed with what he was doing.
"Alexander, get up we must leave from here" The little boy glared at her blankly not understanding what she was saying.

She gripped his hands and he followed her like the obedient child he has always been. The maids were all in the western part of the mansion so they would leave from the back door that was located at the eastern part.

He followed her and tiptoed the exact way she was doing. He didn't understand what this girl in front of him was doing but followed her like the obedient child he was groomed to be.
