Two days later.

"That's so crazy bro. Like again?" Nylah looked down at her sister's phone, shaking her head.

"Nah this one different. A whole ass head on her porch? Bitchhhhh." She stared in disbelief, reading the article about the latest murder of another girl.

"What the fuck y'all talking about?" Joe said without looking away from the TV.

"All them girls that's been getting killed lately. Y'all be honest, don't they all look like Nylah in some way?" Kylah said, looking at the boys.

"Nah. I don't think so." Kentrell chuckled, his face tilted to the side, currently getting a tattoo done.

"Yeah, ion see it Lani." Ben agreed, and Joe did as well.

"Boo!" KD bucked at Nylah, and she jumped, making Kylah bust out laughing.

"It's not funny!" She frowned, folding her arms across her chest.

"Pussy." Joe chuckled, shaking his head at her, and she rolled her eyes.

"I hate y'all." She stood up from the couch, walking upstairs towards Kentrell's room, closing the door behind her.

She dramatically sighed as she walked to his bathroom, pulling her panties down to pee.

She usually played it off as a joke when they compared her to the girls who were being found mutilated, but it was actually beginning to slightly annoy her.

And she couldn't lie and say she wasn't lowkey scared. She'd watched and rewatched all fifteen season of criminal minds, and she definitely fit the 'unsub's victim pool'.

Wiping herself, she stood up, flushing the toilet and then walking to the sink to wash her hands. She frowned, not seeing any paper towels, and she opened the cabinet, grabbing a new roll.

She saw the many medicine pill bottles, and being nosy, per usual, she read over one of the names. The cabinet was slammed shut, and she jumped, turning around seeing Kentrell in front of her.

"You ever heard the sayin' that curiosity killed the cat?" He asked, his voice low, and her heart was pumping so hard she thought he could hear it.

"I-fuck, you scared me. I was getting paper towels." She held up the roll, trying to catch her breath.

"No you weren't. Stop being so damn nosy Symani. Respect the fact that I don't want you to know." He told her, walking out of his bathroom.

She dried her hands, rubbing her fingers through her hair as she followed him out.

"I wasn't trying to overstep any boundaries. But I'm not going to apologize, I don't feel that I did anything wrong.. I was just c-." She started, and he cut her off.

"You was just nosy. After I told you to leave it alone. I don't give a fuck about no fucking apology, I just don't want you doing shit I asked you not to do." He said without looking up from his phone.

"Why do you cuss at me like that?" She asked, sitting next to him.

"Because you so fucking aggravating. If I ask you not to do something, stop fucking doing it. Get out my fucking face Symani." He told her, and she played with the hem of her shorts, not responding.

She stood up, wiping under her eye before a tear could fall, grabbing her shoes.

"I d-wait. I didn't mean it like that baby." He grabbed her shoes from her, and she avoided his gaze.

"You not aggravating. I'm sorry. I didn't mean that Mani." He told her, feeling bad after seeing her crying.

"I hate when you're unnecessarily mean to me. I don't ever talk to you that way. Move Kentrell." She sniffed, trying to stop her tears from falling.
