Three days later.

"Bootybutt come over please." Kentrell mumbled as soon as the FaceTime call with Nylah connected.

"I'm busy right now Kentrell. I'll come tomorrow." She said, her phone facing the ceiling.

"Can I see you?" He asked, and she grabbed her phone, coming into view shortly after, and his eyes lit up.

"You so pretty. I miss you." He told her, and she smiled a small smile.

"Thank you. Why are your eyes red? I thought we said no more drugs for right now?" She rose an eyebrow at him.

"I ain't took nothin'. I'm sad." He mumbled, and she sat her phone up to where he could see her, showing that she was with Coco.

"I'll stay on the phone with you. Are you sleepy?" She asked, watching as he slowly blinked at her.

"Nope." He said, and she rose her eyebrow again.

"When was the last time you went to sleep?" She questioned, and he shrugged.

"When you was here." He answered, and she frowned.

"Kentrell I left three days ago." She said, and he shrugged again, staring at her.

"I miss you so much." He mumbled, beginning to unintentionally pull at his dread.

"Stop pulling your hair Ky." She told him, and he stopped, laying his head down on his hands.

"Bootybutt." He looked at her through the camera, and she looked up from doing Coco's hair, at him.

"Are you mad at me?" He asked, and she shook her head no.

"But you haven't seen me in three days and you ain't really answering my calls. It's okay if you are, I understand." He said, pulling at his hair again.

"And Kylah over here. So why you not?" He mumbled, knowing that he was right about her being upset, which was completely understandable, he just didn't want her to lie to him.

"I'm watching Coco, I couldn't come with her." She told him, gesturing to her baby sister that laid on her bed watching Cocomelon.

"Okay." He rubbed his ear, deciding to leave the conversation alone because he knew that she wouldn't admit to being upset with him.

The line went quiet, neither of them saying anything, but Kentrell kept his eyes on her, watching as she cooed to Avani.

"You getting tired huh fat mama?" She mumbled, seeing Avani attempting to fight her sleep.

She picked her up, laying her down on her chest and rubbing her back, lightly bouncing her to sleep.

Kentrell loved the way that she loved her sister. He wished that his older sister loved him the same way, maybe he would've had a chance at being normal.

Most times, he blamed himself for the way he was. He felt like there was no reason to forbid him from having control over himself, literally all he had to do was stop.

But then late at night, when he thought about his past, he would realize that it had the most major effect on why he was the way he was.

He should've been loved correctly, somebody-anybody-should've loved him the right way, should've been there for him the way he needed them to.

Not that it was all their fault, but they did play a key role, along with himself who developed negative behaviors, and over the years just got worse and worse.

And now, the person who he'd fallen in love with, had learned of who he really was, and the things he did-and whether she admitted it or not, he knew that she was afraid of him.
