The day Mio and I went to Minoru's school because there was a competition there

I sat near Mio who suddenly raised a banner by waving it proudly

"Come on Minoru! Beat those useless bastards!"

I suddenly felt cold gazes directed at me and Mio

'must be the parents of those kids' I thought

"Honey calm down you're making people uncomfortable" I tried to calm her down but I got hit on the head

"Huh?! Why do you care about those bastards?! You should support your son with all your heart you idiot!"

I just sighed tiredly and continued watching the match

The running match was won by Minoru and he somehow mumbled his mother's words like "Hahaha you weak bastards!"

Mio on the other hand was overjoyed and cheered. Damn she's so pretty, I'm really grateful to be with her

The whistle sounded and now it was a competition for parents. Mio quickly ran away leaving the others behind and I could hear Minoru keep saying "Hey that's my fast mom, not like your parents Pfftt"

He really likes to look down on people and the child he looks down on is very similar to Ryuuen. Is this revenge when Mio and Ryuuen were in school?

Just when I finished thinking the match was over and Mio became the winner. Minoru came to hug her after that Mio came back towards me

"Good job Mio" I said while offering a drink of water

"Ah thanks dad" she took it and drank it

"Sorry"

I was a little surprised and turned to her, "for what?"

"To be noisy and make people uncomfortable" she paused for a moment then continued "I'm sorry for being such a strict mother. You know I'm still not used to household matters so it might make you and Minoru feel embarrassed or uncomfortable. I realized and I'm sorry for not being a good wife and mother" she bowed her head sadly

"Mio" I whispered to her

She looked up and was surprised when I kissed her

"W-WHAT are you doing! We're in public!" Her face is red with embarrassment

I smiled "You are a good wife and mother Honey" I said

She shook her head "No... if I was a good mother I wouldn't have made Minoru say "why did you choose me over that big chested girl and that silver girl"

I grabbed her hand and held it tightly, "he's just kidding, you know him right? He really likes to make jokes"

Mio just kept quiet and didn't say anything

"Hey look at this" I pointed at her ring finger "what do you think the ring on your ring finger means? An accident? No it's an oath and promise. My promise with you is to accept whatever your flaws are and accept mine"

"B-but"

"Even if you keep hitting me I will still be with you. We will be together watching Minoru grow, marry and have grandchildren then we will die together and be buried side by side"

She smiled sincerely at my words. I grabbed the banner and started to wave it confusing Mio

"Defeat them Minoru! Make daddy proud!" I shouted trying to keep my tone from being monotonous

Minoru waved his hand and gave me a thumbs up👍

I turned to Mio "we're family Honey. Let's make some noise"

Her grin appeared and laughed "you're right dad let's make some noise!"

Just then I and Mio's screams filled the school grounds. Mio's strong cheer, Minoru laughed. Once again I'm grateful to have a family with Mio
