Feeling the first rays of sun coming through I squinted my eyes and turned over in an attempt of escaping the harsh light. I would stay in bed forever if I could but I knew it wasn't possible.

Rolling around the bed trying to find the strength to get up I finally got myself to step out of the covers and went towards the bathroom.

Staring at myself in the mirror while my hands rested again the counter I focused on my soft curls that were now messy and undone, looking around for my claw clip I put my hair up on a loose bun.

My eyes were puffy and my face swollen, so in my best attempt to look at least presentable at breakfast I opened the tap letting the water run for a few seconds then taking some with my hands and threw it over my face.

I felt drained, no matter how much hours I slept anxiety got the best of me. If this doesn't work out, it will be the end for me, my possibility of being free, being myself.

After a few minutes overthinking in front of the mirror I stepped out off the bathroom. Opening the bedroom window, the sudden fresh air made my skin crawl. I breathed im and looked towards the garden, which looked stunning in the morning sun.

Going towards the fancy dresser I opened the first drawer and found some clothes, taking a hoodie hoping this was actually for me I put it on and went to the door and stepped out to the hallway.

Taking it in a walked to the stairs and tried to remember the way to the dining room, opening the french door the perfectly neat kitchen met my eyes. The lady from yesterday was over the stove and turned around when she heard me come in.

"Good morning miss, how did you sleep?" She asked smiling.

"Very good, thank you." I said softly, smiling back.

"Jasper is already on the table, probably on his fifth pancake by now, Vincent and Angelica will join soon enough, go and take a seat." She said pointing to the door on the left.

"Thank you."

Stepping through I found Jasper devouring a piece of pancake.

"Gudth morgninh." He greeted me with his mouth full to the brim.

"Good morning." I replied back siting down while the nice lady came in and walked behind Jasper hitting his head in a quick motion.

"What do you think your doing? A lady is here, behave." She snapped.

"Ouch. Sorry Rosa." He looked down like a puppy who had just being scolded.
