Chase Collins steps onto a late night train, his last in the city before he moves to a new state with a job promotion.

What he doesn't expect, however, is to sit opposite Kyle Rivera: former best friend, football teammate, and Chase's first love. Kyle is the incarnation of everything he thought had been forgotten and left in the past- his high school bravado, his secrets, his forgotten dreams.

So he goes to sit down beside him. And they talk.

And over the course of that one night, both of them will remember, relive, and most importantly live, as they explore what it means to grow up, to grow apart, to find yourself and to find each other.

Hi guys!

Hi guys!

I have felt, ever since I started writing Featherlight years ago, that the unsung hero of the book was Chase Collins. I wanted to give him more attention, but I also wanted that story to be very much between Kat and Ashton. That's when the idea of a sequel came into my head, as a way to let Chase tell his own story- about who he becomes, the challenges he faces, and most of all the hope that lies in his future.

And since it's been so long since I finished writing Featherlight, it took me a while to relearn and remember who Chase and Kyle were- but maybe that was a good thing, because it was a lot like meeting an old friend and seeing how much has changed; and oddly, how much has stayed the same (which, spoiler: is pretty much what this story is about).

As always, thank you so much for deciding to read this book. Your comments and feedback are so appreciated :).

Much love,

Iz xxx
