3rd pov
The sun begins rising from the horizon as two Blackhawk helicopters were flying in the air accompany by a few F-15s squadron. After the talk with Persica, General Shepherd has ordered a task force to deployed and extracted both members of the AR team. This mission consists of a squad of Rangers, M4A1 and Y/N with Y/N being the one in charge of the mission. Inside one of the choppers, Y/N is double checking his weapon which is a G36 attached with holographic sight. He cocks his rifle before looking to his side towards M4A1 who is looking outside through a small window beside her. He could tell that she is extremely worried about her comrades and decide to cheer her up. He put a hand on her shoulder causing her to look at him
You: Hey, I know that you're worried and all. But relax a bit, we'll rescue them
He spoke calmly trying to calm M4A1 down which work as she feel a bit more relax
M4A1: Thank you... Commander...
She flash him a cute smile which he return it with a closed eye smile. Before the mission was announced, M4A1 was put under Y/N's command as the first T-doll to join Phoenix Squad, a temporary team consist of only T-dolls
Pilot: Sergeant Y/N, we're arriving at the LZ
Y/N stood up and walk towards the door with M4A1 behind him. He slide the door open as the outside wind hit their faces. A blackhawk flies beside them carrying Rangers as a F-15 flies between both choppers before breaking off
Overlord: All Vectors, this mission is important, find and extract the T-dolls before they get into the enemy's hand. Good luck out there
You: Copy all, Overlord. All units prepare for engagement, we're entering enemy lines
The choppers starts descending before landing on the ground as soldiers hop out from the choppers with their guns drawn. Y/N and M4A1 hop out with their weapons out while the choppers flies out of the area. Everyone scans the surrounding area making sure there are no enemies around which they find none
Ranger 1: All clear!
Ranger 2: Our LZ is secured, sir
You: Alright, in order for us to get to the rendezvous point, we have to go through the abandoned city
Ranger 3: Do we have to walk on the bridge then?
You: That's basically the only way to get to the rendezvous quicker. We'll have to take the risk, we can't go around it
Ranger 1: We'll be caught in the open...
Ranger 2: But there's no other way around it. We'll just have to take it
The Rangers nodded knowing there's no other way to get to the rendezvous point quicker. Y/N look at M4A1 and nodded
You: Let's go
He starts walking as everyone else follows behind him with their guards up
Timeskip
After a few minutes, they finally arrived at the abandoned city. The buildings were destroyed as debris from a past battle still evident with bullet holes and the smell of gunpowder enters their nostrils. From their view point, the place is a ghost town. Y/N took cover behind a wall and peak around the corner to see the coast is clear before giving a hand signal. Three Rangers moves forward and take point inside a building while Y/N and M4A1 wait for them to secure the building
Ranger 1: All clear. No sign of enemies
You: Roger
They enter the building as Y/N turns to the Rangers
