It's my first time taking part in the ONC and I'm kinda excited (coz everyone's excited!). I'm not even certain if I can force myself to finish this novella on time, considering how I am a witness to my own lazy existence. But nothing ventured nothing gained.
By the way, I decided to use prompt 44.

Now I have my chin in my hand trying to figure out where to go with it.
