I woke up feeling slightly better than I thought I would and decided that today wasn't just going to be a lazy day.

I quickly nursed off my hangover with water and ate some breakfast before opening tinder.

I swiped right on a few guys but I couldn't shake the thought that they weren't Harry.

Maybe he was right about me. I'd known him for about a week and all I could think about was him. Maybe this bet was actually something that I needed just as much as him.

As I was scrolling through tinder I got a text message.

Hey Jess it's Talia!
Cal sent me your number the other day. We're having a bit of a girls night tonight if you wanted to join. Wine, snacks and gossip if you're keen.

I quickly replied that I was so on board and Talia sent me the address.

I tried to keep myself busy for the rest of the day and decided that I was long overdue for a workout.

I still hadn't used the unlimited gym access that came with the apartment so I was excited to finally be making good use of it.

I changed into my workout gear and headed to the second floor, scanning a key card that granted me access. I opened the gym door only to find myself staring at Harry once more.

I had to blink a few times to make sure I wasn't hallucinating and once I was confident that it was really him I made my way over to an exercise bike in the corner.

He had on a tight fitting black shirt and gym shorts and I had to hold my breath as I took in the sight of him running on the treadmill

I really didn't want him to notice me in the gym because sweating in front of somebody who looks like that should be illegal, so I put my headphones in and climbed on the bike.

I started cycling and had to stop myself from continuously checking him out, afraid that he'd catch me. As I peddled I noticed that somebody had come over and stood next to me and I took one of my headphones out as I looked up to see a very fit boy standing next to me.

"Hey I'm sorry to do this, I literally never do this actually, but well I was just hoping I could get your number and maybe take you out for a drink sometime?" He said with a nervous laugh and I couldn't help but smile back at him.

"What's your name?" I asked, enjoying the way that he looked down at me, trying to subtly flex his muscles.

"My name's Connor. And you?" He asked and I couldn't help but look over his shoulder at Harry, who had definitely noticed the interaction I was having.

"I'm Jess. And sure you can have my number Connor." I said with a smile as I took his phone and put my number in it.

I wasn't sure whether I gave him my number because I was interested in him or because I wanted Harry to be jealous, but whatever my motives were Harry started to walk over regardless.

Connor said goodbye and went back to his workout as Harry approached me. He leaned on the front bars of the bike, forcing me to look at him and smiled.

"Jess." He said looking down at me with his signature smirk. His hair was ruffled and a bit wet with sweat and his cheeks were slightly pink, with little beads of sweat sitting on them.

I hated the fact that my mind immediately made me wonder if this is how he looked during sex.

"Harry." I said as I met his eyes, feeling a blush creep onto my own cheeks.

"Stalking me now?" He teased and I instinctively rolled my eyes which earned a laugh from him.

"Well I hate to disappoint you but I'm finished for the day." He said and I hated to admit it but I actually was disappointed to hear it.

"I'm sure I'll live." I said with a sweet smile.

He grinned and turned to walk away before stopping himself and turning back.

"You got any plans tonight?" He asked and I was taken aback by the question.

"Yeah I do actually, why's that?" I asked and he immediately ruffled his hair and shrugged.

"Just got to figure out how many girls to snog tonight is all." He replied and my heart dropped.

"Oh right. Yeah well, my count isn't going up tonight. Girls night at Talia's." I replied and watched his face for the reaction.

If I was looking for some sort of hope to cling to, I didn't find it. He raised his eyebrows slightly before turning to walk away again.

"Have fun Jess." He said as he walked away and I watched him go, feeling the absence of him as soon as he left the gym.

I stayed at the gym for another hour, sweating out my frustration and once I was back upstairs and showered, I was feeling slightly better.

I cleaned my apartment up and got ready for Talia's before catching the tube and making my way over, unsure of what the night would bring, but excited nonetheless.
