April and Nuwa were checking the fridge, freezer and each cabinet while Casey was writing a grocery list of what they needed

Nao Nao was sitting on the table and just watching them

"Are you almost done with the list?" April asked

"Uh, I think so" Casey replied, without expecting it, Nao Nao was playing with the grocery list and tore it to pieces

"Ah, Nao Nao!" Casey yelled in frustration and the vixen quickly jumped off the table and retreated to her basket

"Oh, Nao Nao" Nuwa sighed as she and April chuckled while Casey was grumbling and making a new list

Leo, Raph and Mikey were training outside and Donnie was sleeping in his room, Mikey couldn't wake him up, so he just left him with dirty underwear on his face

April, Nuwa and Casey were going to get groceries, since they've run out of food as they made their way to the Party Wagon

"Hey, guys. We're heading down to the store" April informed the Turtles as Nuwa and Casey stepped into the car

"Any requests?" Casey asked

"Ooh, ooh, ooh! I need some spicy gummy worms, neat!" Mikey replied happily as he got on his knees

"Yeah, he's not gonna have that" Casey said as he started the car

"That store is tiny, Mikey. It's the kind of place that has peanut butter or jelly" April explained as she hopped in and the three drove off

After chatting with each other on the way there, they finally arrived at the shop and made their way inside

It was quiet and there seemed to be no one, they just walked around and tried to find the things they would need

Nuwa carried the box as April placed her things in it as she walked off with the box to take the things she wants

April walked past all the products, before she nearly bumped into someone and gasped

She looked up and saw an older man who looked very tired, probably exhausted. But he looked very insane and just looked at her, before speaking up

"Hey, there! Name's Bernie, I just bought this place"

He walked over to place the box filled with products on the floor and placed each product to where they must be

"On purpose?" Casey asked

"Finding everything you need?" Bernie asked

"You got any spicy gummy worms?" April asked

"Is that bait? You mean bait?" Bernie asked as he brought his face a little too close to April's

"It's candy" April replied, feeling a little uneasy. Nuwa just glared at the man who didn't even notice

"Oh, I got candy!" Bernie said as he took out a jar and opened it

"What kind?" April asked

"Brown... but it used to be yellow" Bernie replied awkwardly as Nuwa cringed at the thought of the man selling candy that was already expired

April and Nuwa just continued to find the things they would need. While doing that, they had a quiet conversation

"What a weird loopy, don't you think?" April asked quietly

"Maybe he's just not very well and needs a day off" Nuwa shrugged as she grabbed things from the shelf

She and April reached for the same jar of jelly and touched their hands, Nuwa looked at April with a light blush while April looked like a tomato
